JackClark wiill testify to this, he's now able to buy the new iPad thanks to the boost in his shares in Apple. You should be thanking them instead of berating them.

Well I don't give a ****, I've booked the day off on Friday and I'll be waiting for the courier to deliver my new 32GB iPad and hopefully the AppleTV should arrive a couple of days later

Depends when you pre-ordered. I've already had the dispatch notification and confirmation it'll be delivered 'on or before 16th March'.
Although I'm not taking the day off to wait it. Luckily the wife doesn't work Fridays so I've told her she has to wait in all day

 

Mine is stated as despatched with a 16th March delivery still in place.

Are they really going to be queuing again? I really cannot get my head round that and that goes for any product not just Apple.

Just go in a couple of days after and buy one, why the need to have it the second it launches other than ***** waving of course?

I remember a post on here (I think it was SN) from someone who claimed to be driving buy the Apple Store somewhere and saw the queue so decided to see what the fuss was about and ended up buying the new iPhone I think it was.... LOL at 'happened to be driving by' ... just admit it if you are sad enough to queue with the mongs as pretending otherwise is even worse

 

They queue because the initial allocation will sell out in hours as usual and then there will be a 2 week wait for further stock, that's how it always goes and keeps hype high.

 

Just pre order, if apple cannot do the supply and demand thing then its their fault and the muppets outside the shops for 3-4 days waiting for them

i can't understand why people camp out for days to get it in store when you could easily just pre-order it online and get it delivered to where-ever you want for free on the day of release. Yes I know the shipping dates have now slipped for those slow to pre-order, but if you're desperate enough to camp outside then you really should be able to get your **** in gear early enough to pre-order online in time...

 

The same people probably pretend they're Vampires and play World of Warcraft with their BFF's.

For the iPad 1 and 2 my friend has walked into the MK store on launch day and picked one up. I'm going as I want an Apple TV before I leave again on Monday, but it'll be well after the "Ceremony".
