I've every confidence they'll come back looking like new but I hadn't thought about the finish; gloss, satin or matt?

So then it's any finish as long as its matt.

I was going for the matt finish anyway but I'll let him think it's his choice.

Sorry Cliff but I'll be keeping them but if they do ever go up for sale I'll offer you first refusal.

How's the reverse scoop doing now?

Bugger....gonna have to keep looking aint I.
1st scoops holding up well. I was going to try the MLR sprint at silverstone but Im doing something the day before now, and I will see if it "sags" under heat. Prototype 2 has been made, preped, and should be ready for testing end of March. If that goes well, I will look into getting a batch of 12 made and try a "group buy".....
Pics of the "volks" Ty as you get them refurbed

When the reverse vents are finalised then I will be in touch.

Here are some pics so far of the refurb, all the wheels are in pretty much identical condition.

Of course it is all my own hard work.

I really don't know where I find the time.

I`ll keep you up to date on the vent Ty, as and when...
Refurbing wheels is a "labour of love", but it will be worth it when they are finished...I could of helped sand them down too. I was going to be up near you this weekend, but Cardiff police have made life difficult for this weekends "away" supporters..tickets must be collected from Cardiff west services 45 mins before kick-off and I dont fancy my chances getting to the ground in time..Be a bit mad. You`ll have to just sand them yourself

To be honest Cliff I'm not doing any of the work myself, a very good and helpful member on here is doing the refurb work as if I did the work then the repairs would look a right mess.

Nowt wrong with being honest Ty, and I think its right to know your limitations...I did my own wheels (used to be in the trade) but wouldnt dream of touching the engine. Lucky for me, APi are on my doorstep

They look 100% better when seen, the pics really don't do them justice at all.

I am really pleased with them and with the neochrome wheel nuts they are going to look outstanding.

I just need to source some centre caps at a reasonable price now.
