Can i just clear up for the record that your car is not capable of 180mph but would be if x amount of money was spent on it. A fiesta is the same, capable of 500mph just needs a jet engine bolted to it, but you can't see how ridiculous your statement is.
You also freely admit to driving "flat out" and doing 160mph on a public highway, as well as using your car to make deliveries.
As you cannot answer many of the simple questions put to you i'd say you aren't THAT clued up and its perfectly possible your engine isn't forged at all. You are now arguing on a forum of maybe not experts but people with a better knowledge than yourself about Subaru's but simply cannot take in the simple advice.
In my opinion you do not want to change your advert because you'd rather someone (like yourself) without much experience fell for the outlandish claims.
In the same breath of saying you hate people being mouthy on the internet you then swear and threaten people.
Personally if you were honest then you'd link this thread on your ebay advert and allow any potential buyers to read this and make their own mind up. The fact you won't means you are intending to rip someone off by "pulling the wool over their eyes".
Please don't swear or threaten me, i won't sleep tonight....

Just read all this and laughed my head off.
Especially the bit, " yea I'm a doorman, say it to my face".....LOL.
JOG ON MATE.
You now know a bit more about the car (hopefully). Best thing to do is delete the current eBay advert a re-write it with genuine and honest information.
And by coming on here swearing and using threatening behavior is just pathetic, you not scaring anybody but just making yourself look like a complete helmet.

Right well if it's got a piggy back then it might be a unichip or something
But considering the mines tape is still intact I don't know how they got round this
Unless the mines part is the Ecu piggyback?
Steve

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the version 2 heads yet
A Mines ECU was good back in it's day 10-15 years ago but it's old hat now and technology has moved on. Also because you were told it was fully forged that means nothing, you might have been lied to If it has receipts for the work that's all good but without receipts it could be anything in there.
Good luck with the sale

Yesterday we had the girlfriend thread in nsr, now this one, some entertaining reading going on lately.
To the OP, its not sensible to admit openly on a web forum about hitting 150 odd mph on the motorway. Could land yourself in trouble there.

Actually no they won't. It's a serious problem on classic impreza's. Do a search and you will see all the threads about how many members are looking for a decent rear quarter rust fix. It's more than just paint as it's all the metal underneath that needs to be cut out and welded in again.
