Front bumper Cliff.... Now the work is being sorted for mine I'd be daft not to do it as it will stick out like a sore thumb otherwise.

I may have to pay this "mirror finish" a visit Cliff. How do you find the colour match?

I've seen different shades of supposed 230 white, in fact I viewed a car in many many shades of white before I bought this one, so I was a little apprehensive, but I didn't need to be, I'm delighted with it

Today I decided to have a look at my fuel filler neck, which the Arch rolling guy had pointed out to me as needing attention.

It looked really bad but actually cleaned up nice with a wire brush, a little sand paper and then a Hammerite finish.
The amount of dirt behind the plastic cover was unreal, it fell into a great big pile on my driveway!!!!

Here is the result of a fair bit of hard work (I forgot to take "before" photos!!)

and then I cleaned and primed up the rear caliper ready for some red paint to match my 4pots which still need fitting...

Filler pipe on mine rotted through behind the plastic cover;

It ******* stunk of petrol if I filled the tank.

I'm not surprised Micky, that plastic cover is a crap design the way it holds in all the dirt and road muck, including salt no doubt, I was relieved to see a silver pipe once I'd rubbed off the rust

Nice work Cliff. Are you highlighting the lettering, or just leaving as they are?

Thanks Stu, it's a shame the Uxbridge Autoshow has come around much too quickly for me, I somehow got caught up in life and work, but it'll be out on the road soon enough and I'll get to something before the season ends I hope
