Generally the IMS issue on the 996 is with the 3.4 litre model and not the facelift 3.6

RMS seems to be with just about all the models including the 997 ! I had my RMS done on the 996 last year

But if i'm honest i find my 996 C2 much much cheaper to run and insure than my Type R

welcome to Porsche ownership Fud !

Very nice Mark. Thought about a Nissan GTR yet?

You got any plans for the porker? Not that it needs anything by the sounds of it! What's the power like?

Type R looks amazing too Just spotted that the 911 is a Turbo S, what does this give you over a non S?

tx here are the stats of the standard cars.

911 Turbo 420 PS 4.2 s 189 mph
911 Turbo S 450ps 3.9s 193 mph
911 GT3 380 PS 4.5 s 190 mph
911 GT3RS 400 PS 4.4 s 190 mph
911 GT2 483 PS 3.7 s 192 mph

All run dry sumps my 911 tt s runs 2 x x50 turbos will full miltek exhaust,Full turbo and water samco hose kit and bigger actuators its done 3.7 0-60 and a 11.5 quarter without launch so not bad ..

The jdm 450 was amazing and felt like a proper fast car that you had to drive fast to make it feel fast tbh the porsche gets u to crazy speeds far to easy and without any effort no gear changes ect

Nice to be able to have fast scoob and the porsche tbh.
