If he promised to post it there was no point to go drive and go there for jut the receipt.
He could have sent it tracked even for safety, but nobody knows why he didn't.

I thought it was for more than the receipt and to have a look at your car maybe if you were a man of your word and gone there this would of been avoided. But like every thing else you were told you have ignored and thought you knew best which is becoming obvious you know very little about these cars.

Stews been looking after my cars for over 6 years now and I've never had any problems, he built my current 2.35 and I popped in quite a few times to see how things were going and it always had wing covers on when he was working in the engine bay

Did he tell you your engine needed new parts, work done to it and you replied just stick it back together, oh and why was it on the low loader if it's still being mapped tuesday

Wiley I know you and Stew, so I'm not taking sides, just wanting facts

I didn't make no promise to go down Saturday. All I said is that I'll pop down sometime and I'll let stew know beforehand when I do. So unless you've been down mine and stews phone, don't jump to conclusions. As I thought, another one of the TFS massive lol, who don't understand that customers come first.

customer may always comes first but don't always know best as been proven by your choice to still run a car on a knackered engine!
What are fb tuning going to tell you about the damage are they psychic and will know how it happened this thread was about the damage not the engine!

Just skim read the thread but can i ask.....The bill of 3.5k was to bascially remove the engine, supply and fit new shells, put back together, refit engine and take for a mapping session?

Spoke to stewart lots of faults needed sorting to get car running and wasn't just to take to mapping was for mapping as well and rolling road time....car was at rolling road 3 times mapped twice due to dodgy realease bearing.
Although why he has to justify bill when wiley was fine with the cost i don't know and thread was about damage not bill?

Why would Stew tell you so much I ask, anyone on here can see that your post are either him or speaking on his behalf.

for your info that is my user name and a few people on here will know why i am called that:-
i am stews wife
5ft 6
and a mouth just as big
i know how much work he put into that car including weekends away from his family so to be getting all this **** from you lot is uncalled for
saying i haven't got the bollox no your right i am a woman but i have got more ***** that alot of you and if you got a problem with that tough i believe in honesty and thats what you get at tfs and yes i have seen stews phone so i do know what i am talking about and i was at the roller when it was said about how knackered wileys car was he choose not to repair and wanted it put back as was his mistake not stew's you can't expect someone to take an engine out and strip it for nothing he is running a business not a charity and for your info there were alot of other things that were done to the car brake , boost controller reapairing splitter that wiley himself broke!!!
since when does a garage have to justify the bill to anyone other than the customer which wiley accepted and now he is trying to stir up **** for his own failings!

Stews wife now on here, I'm sorry mam lol. Let me get this right, £70 to fix splitter and the boost controller was already plummed in, just needed wiring up to the simtek. If you had the diagram itll take no more than a 10 mins. And obviously fitting brake hoses.
Again, I appreciate that stew got my car running, just not happy that the car came back with a few marks.

Sorry wiley according to earlier post you knew who this was yet after i have told you you call me mam .... lol really don't know me never met me!
why are you moaning about cost now you should have taken that up when he rang you to tell you price!
you agreed the price and paid yet now are moaning about it !
this thread was about the damage not the job but you have persisted in bringing it up make your mind up what is the problem the job or the damage!
as for posting pics on here of it being recovered that has nothing to do with the damage but to do with the fact that you refused to by new parts and carry on using second hand and worn parts and told that engine was knackered or are you saying that because of a scratch and some chips on wheels you had to have it recovered!
If you have a problem with this you should have been a man and spoken to stew instead of slandering him on here act like a man instead of a child throwing his toys out of the pram cos you has been proven wrong nad its your fault the car broke down because you didn't take on the advise you where given

Because you don't seem to be able to differentiate between us even if we are male or female!
Yet again though wiley posting but not answering because you know we are right but thats ok because at least all this is on here thanks to you and i hope he does get legal advise and takes it further because you were told you engine was knackered but chose not to do anything about it and now its gone whoops!

Tbh, the advice given from stew was like a text coming from my 3 year old son. "Bottom end is fxcked", never told me what's wrong
I said okay, it'll be another £1k plus for new pistons as he says the JE pistons I had was again shxt. Done some research and knew a lot of people including Rich @ FB has run over 600bhp on these pistons. So thought whats the point as I only wanted around 450bhp.
He said okay, and put new bearings on and put the block back together.
I even asked if my engine will be good for 500bhp, stew said yes but what about the gearbox. I even asked if I should get a CDB but he sounded reluctant to to it "means I got to start again".
The best advice from stew was "completely up to you" lol

Any garage would like their customers car running the best it can. That's harsh mrs TFS, okay so the engine won't start now (sounds like top end from RAC guy when he cranked it)
Bet you're happy though TFS team
