Turbitits car looks really nice with it on but some if the others don't

Think I will leave it maybe go sti 7 is there much difference in look between a wrx 7 and sti7 scoop?

Will be eventually going front mount so will be a pure cosmetic thing

Gauges are inaccurate as they can flex. Plug direct into the OBD port and read digitally from the sensors, you will actually find the STi7 scoop provides a cooler airflow for the bug as its in the airflow from the bonnet. The STi8 points down slightly by a few degrees and actually stops airflow only a fraction but this causes turbulence around your scoop due to the disruption

In my signature the first link is to the wrx scoop the second has an Sti scoop, my car runs a lot better and smoother with the Sti scoop, but it is only about an inch higher. If you get the Sti scoop you need the undertray as well

You cannot read intercooler(charge temp) temp from the obd socket using the o/e ecu as there is no sensor for it. If your readfing a temp on the o/e ecu its probably intake temp which is taken from the maf sensor prior to turbo so its nothing to do with what the intercooler scoop is doing.

Guages can be a little inacurate yes. Mine is a digital display and perminantly hard wired with a boss screwed into the cooler. so its pretty accurate. It wasnt touched when i swapped between the two scoops so i will rely on my findings.

May i ask how you measuring charge temps via obd? unless you have a spec c ofcourse?
