No mate, gave them a bit of a de-coking earlier and more cleaning. One of the oil channel grub screws is rounded off so i can't get in to give it a good clean and my local engineers didn't want to drill it out. I've used a can of brake cleaner already on them to get them spotless, but need to pick up another tin tomorrow and lap in again, another clean and possibly build up. ARP's need to come out of the loft .

4 pots bought.
2 pots on their way.
Adhesive front number plate ordered.

Pretty much decided on the ECU now as well

Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhhh!

Please for love of anything alcholic, or halucinigenic, try and get back to basics and keep things simple for now.

I've made an executive decision on your behalf. I invited you to the meeting, but, seeing as you're not on Facebook you didn't attend.

The decision is this; You're getting an ESL board, it does everything you currently need and there's no need for any added expense at the present time.

Get the car up and running, then think about changing things. You don't like the colour you've painted the manifold, fine, change it in the future. So keep the inlet spacers for when you change it. I had a bloody PH1.5 manifold sitting here for god knows how long that you could have had for nothing.

You don't need bling billet rails to go with a paralell set up, it can be done easily enough with standard rails, but again, that is for the future.

Why is "Bastard" in the swear filter? Off topic, I know, but it's hardly swearing. I swore at my car worse than that on Saturday when I was swapping my suspension.

You'd have known I was doing that, Al, if you were on FB.

I don't do Facebook, although I'm thinking I might. Si asked the same last night, but I've seen far too many rows kick off over something said by some idiot spiraling out of control. Someone suggested setting one up under a pseudonym then inviting people you want to speak to.

You make me sound indecisive Micky .

Tomorrow is another day....

Fail.

Pseudonym is a good approach, one of my mates uses one as his ex is a right bitch.

Get registered, the icon under my username takes you to my profile. I'm friends with one or 4 SN mods on FB.

You, indecisive, I'd have never thunk it.

I'm still working on the heads, I'm cleaning them repeatedly to make sure there's no swarf anywhere from the skim. In didn't realise quite how extensive and time consuming it would be, and I haven't even started putting them back together yet.
