**Back on topic**
Changing the gearbox and diff on my classic uk turbo seemed to make the back end a bit naughtier, my newage sti is very similar. Might be worth looking at sti box and diff.

Its rather humorous! If you use the lovely search function you can see that in actual fact it's not even a 300bhp finger in *** car!! Running a TD04...

And it's on it's 3rd engine!....

Ahwell hope you have fun trying on your lovely airfield to get your back end out.... I'm sure it'll be easy as your pants are probably still pulled down from when you bought the car...!

Thanks

To disconnect the traction you just need to disconnect the battery. Works every single time a I have done it

when I saw tif on fifth or topgear do it on an airfield he was doing over 100mph flicked it and that got the back end put. This is all okay but there is always the possibility of it digging in and then ur into a barrel roll if u can afford to write ur car off go for it.

And as for u saying its not even 300 bhp and it's my 3rd engine and standard turbo u r wrong I just don't update my car info on here but to all the people with sensible answers thank you and to all the haters with stupid answers **** u and like I said in the previous post prove I haven't got an airfield and we will call it quits but other than that u keep getting beat on the track or in tesco car park loosers

lol typical chav retort - "we will settle it at a meet" - nice one fella.

I shop at M&S incidentally not tescos.

looking at the thread jd5217 has posted which you started less than Two weeks ago looking for advice on where to buy a boggy basic engine from - so im guessing "in your head" you have in this time bought the engine - dropped it off at a tuner who you have convinced to work over the xmas/new year break - had it modiffied, live mapped and then put on a dyno and have achieved all this in less than a fortnight??

I dont dispute you have an airfield - to be honest i dont need to as i dont even think you own a car. In fact have you left school yet fruitloop??

I have bought an engine that was last tested on a dyno in October running 397 bhp so close enough to 400 and it's not a Chav thing to say settle at a meet it's reality something your clearly not familiar with ...

And I have left school and that was immature

If u want I'll give u the number to the Airfield give them a call and u can use it

Just because you have a 400bhp engine doesn't mean you have a 400bhp car... You need all ofthe supporting mods aswell lol!

It was only a few weeks ago you ask what power you think I'm running.

What injectors, turbo, fuel setup, clutch etc you running??

Don't care about the airfield really I doubt anybody is! Lose the attitude and you might get on better!

have a look at the SC range from Scoobyclinic, but bear in mind what the engine can cope with.

Do you know what the internals are?

that is the problem, unless you know for sure you could end up with an expensive bill.

can you check with who you got the engine from?

to get to 400, you may also need larger injectors (i am not sure what the blue can flow).

You may have been mis-informed a little on the VF29, 400 is a tad optimistic, Probably closer to the 350 mark on a decent setup.

SC42 is probably one to go for, But bear in mind anything over and above 350 your gearbox is living on borrowed time,

Injectors depending on what shade of blue, If they are the standard WRX 2.0L(Light blue/Turquiose) ones you will need to upgrade them, If they are out of the later 2.5L(Darker Blue)motor they will be fine for 400bhp

The blue ones are the updrated from standard 500cc injectors

Tbh if it's running around the 350 mark I will be happy with that

I'll have a check with the person I bought the engine from as don't wanna replace the engine again lol

they may be uprated, but would need to know the flow rates they are capable of. Sure someone on here would know.

If the injectors have been changed and the turbo, then a remap is a must.

Your asking if its capable of 400bhp with the Vf29 yet it was dyno tested in october at 397??
