only got the Morkai atm. there are supposed to be nine dragon masks you can get of priests. lay them on the alters to get their secrets so it might be something to do later on.

 

I'm in Lost Echo Cave - maybe a mistake at level 15 - the Chauruses are mean fekkers - and there are loads of them.

 

arch mage robes and morkai mask and a 36% magika regen ring certainly allows you to cast the muffle spell a few times that mana bar doesn't half fill up fast now. 100 illusion here we come

Don't pick a side in the civil war until you've completed the Main Quest. If you do, you spoil a whole line of the quest and make it much less interesting.

i realised why i was struggling killing **** my difficulty was set to hard

 

well managed to get illusion and conjuration up to 100 last night.

@ Kieran - you were right the x15 damage coupled with the x2 sneak with a daedric knife is awesome. one stroke for most and it's lights out.

went to the Bethesda site last night and watch some of the video. how do I get those great looking cut scenes when killing stuff. do I have to be in 3rd person mode for them?

I get them all the time - the throat cut is my favourite. This may say something about me....

You don't need 3rd person view switched on, but it does seem to be critical hits that cause it to occur.

I do tend to get more when I am sneaking I've noticed.

 

The other thing about choosing a side is that information comes to light later in the game that may change your allegiance - it did mine.

 

I get the cut scenes everyone I deal the last blow.

I.e 3 bandits , last hit on the 3rd one ill get the kill scene.

 

I've lost Lydia (think she is dead, I wasnt hanging about in that cave ) still have my horse though

never worry she was only a housecarl. it was her duty. pick another more resilient companion in the Bannered Mare in Whiterun.

 

I find the mages at the winterhold college are the best companions

I admit to doing the archery skill trick with faergon in river wood upti level 50

 

exploits are ok. do the speech one in riften. use a mud crab for your block and conjuration. and make use of Hadvar in riverwood as well. as an NPC you can kill him as many times as you like. increase your sneak, two handed, one handed, archery, destruction spells the whole nine yards. he just keeps coming back for more.

well being a level 4 vampire is a right pain in the hole. didn't even know i was bitten until i got the boiling blood in the sun message. then its too late. over a period of three days you get more vampire powers which are cool but you end up with everyone attacking you. you have to sneak into someones house while they are sleeping and feed to repress your vampire tendencies. you can get rid of the curse but its a major PITA.

 

I had rockjoint and for a while could not work out why everyone kept telling me I was ill!

 

Being a werewolf is quite cool I think!
Can't believe how many things you end up being leader of though,I'm the arch mage,thieve guild leader,black brotherhood leader to a few lol.

This game is pretty unrealistic. Dragons and shooting ice spikes out of your hands I can buy, but getting married and having your wife, cook,clean for you and GIVE YOU money I did have to reload my save last night though after my wife died, she and my horse were fighting some foresworn soldiers when my horse flew up into the air and landed on top of her killing them both.

 

First sense of acheivement.

It was a bugger to find a way to kill Morokai - but I found somewhere to hide and put everything into my archery - getting a bonus for using stealth and sneak shooting him from a distance. Ten shots and he was toast! Not a single bit of health lost.

Also tried to kill the Deathlord a number of times with no success - then one time he just stood there whilst I thrashed him with flames. He did a shout on me a few times but never tried to hit me.

 

What missions was they trout? I'm on aludins wall.

 

good job. now use the morkai and the arch mages clothes for 200% magic regen and go and practice some magic. get your illusion, conjuration, destruction and restoration all up to 100. there must be at least 1 level in just casting the muffle spell.
