Jimmy's got a Type R
Faster spooling turbo and good top end
If I remember correctly these have a slightly higher top end but that comes with more lag though.
Yeah was gonna suggest a v6 spoiler. Thats what I had on my classic. I think it finishes the car of propperly.
Definately worth cleaning the car youself as you appreciate it more.
Jimmy mate like I said in the other post get that rust sorted as soon as possible. If I had my classic I would have shown you the damage lol. It really didn't look that bad that if I did show you pics you couldn't tell there was any rust. But when it had eaten its way through well you know what happened.

So was it the fat bird you mentioned that owned it last?Did she tell you about any interesting bits it's had?
Always a bonus to speak to the previous owner.
Danny.
She bought it of a guy called Tom who had it from when it landed 5 years ago,she only had it 9 months and did NOTHING to it,Inc oil !! NOTHING,just put fuel in,I spoke to him yesterday,a nice bloke to be fair,he put on a new de-catted exhaust and some basic stuff but mostly standard but took good care of it,I said I thought it was her who had it from day one but wasn't...He sold it to her for £5200 10 months ago and 1 month ago she px'd it to the van trader,he did keep saying it was mint,as you can see by the pix I nicked he sent me lol...The car is well know on the Jap website as he is...
No,it's just a tiny bit of rust on rear pass side, but I want it right,on drivers rear she has put a tiny 5" scratch that you can hardly see but will have that done as well...Engine nice, gearbox nice and tight...Inside is mint
at least you got a proper impreza and not another wrx lol.
if i was going to get a classic it would be the model i would go for without a doubt.
please no stickers and carbon bonnets though.

Jimmy drop some OEM gold rims or some decent looking rims on there preferably in gold to keep it looking JDM.

I don't suppose you kept your simtec from your old car to stick in this one?
Danny.
Ah gotcha.
Jimmy, quick question, well to everyone really.Does anyone else get pinned by their seatbelt after a quick squirt?
Both belts do this and it's quite annoying. You have to eject them so you can breathe again.

had the belt problem on an old car something faulty inside the mechanism i think, spring tensioner or something. had to replace them both, i was told it was caused by moisture. no idea if this is true though.
My seat belt always seems to tighten. I think you can by clips for the belt to help stop it.
Anyway, back on topic.
Went to halfords with Mr Saville today and had a look at stereos. Found this, what a great bit of kit for the money

Theres a single din in the Jimmy chariot at the moment so he wants to get a double din in there and a sub in the boot as it already has the wiring for one.
