I probably am!

I have had loads of Apple products since I bought an iMac G3 in 1999 and all of them have performed faultlessly and done exactly what I wanted them to do. I can't recommend them highly enough.

The best bit is that, although expensive to buy initially, you get quite a big slice back when it's time to upgrade, it's a win win!

At last a little intellect returns.

That's correct Jon, now what we need to do is factor in how many iOS devices are not telephones lets say half for now, probably too high but why not. It's still not clear to me how come iOS has such a high percentage of internet traffic, three year jump on Android and a lot of old iPhones still in circulation? Possibly.

Can I send you back to the beginning of this thread where you'll find a very objective camera comparison. Sony do make great cameras, but I didn't think they made lenses, is the 6th lens a Sony innovation or Apple. And whist we're back on Cameras what's this infrared thing in the 4s?

Even if the Galaxy S2 was an identical clone, hardware and software, not that Samsung would clone anything of course, you still wouldn't have the after sales service and support, that stuff's not free you know.

My Nephew played the "paid double, same thing" back chat last week but with MacBooks, failed miserably as an 18 year old should, what do teenagers know about total cost of ownership.

They don't but as it is 'cool' to have an iPhone, would you not consider this to be a key reason for Apple's recent market domination? A bit like Nike Air trainers back in the 1990's?

Cool to have an iPhone! Now that's funny, well it was funny in 2008.

Kids around here don't need phones anymore, mobile data is everywhere and cheaper.

So kids are happy with the cheaper option? What planet do you live on?

My 15 year old nephew begged his Dad for months and months for an iPhone 4. Got one, had it less than a month, then dropped it in some water.
Now he is stuck with a crappy old Nokia as my brother refuses to pay the £100 insurance excess. He is still paying the £47 a month contract though. £12 of which is insurance.

He's an idiot. You definitely live on a different planet if you let a relative waste good money, give him the £100 and sell the phone to pay the contract. Pure stupidity.

You can when you wave £100 in their face and tell them you'll give them the same again later. Anyhow, a crying kid taking his iPhone for repair at an Apple store would be an instant replacement, just to get him out.
