Get her a pair of slippers and a *****. If she doesn't like the slippers, she can go f*ck herself!

Ns04 - happy now he's had the chance to make the only seasonal joke he knows!

Do that, Snazy. Care begets care. Drum kit can be a star gift for her. Other little things can be hint gifts, and one can be a fancy gift e.g. perfume, jewellery or a designer toaster.

Get something for yourself as well (while you are at it). I recommend a good pair of ear defenders.

She should buy a dictionary for your Christmas pressie. She should launch it towards you, and you should make sure that your forehead comes in a way. You should have a concussion. Then she can finish off the relationship.

Has this thread been 'cleaned up'? I LOL'd at the pic of the cordless drill someone put up earlier.

Edited to say - no, still there on page one . Thought it was page 2 I'd seen it on.

That's not a very nice thing to say.

I play some Indian drums called Dholak and Chang. I also play Tabla and Harmonium. My female kid plays guitar. I am just a mediocre one, but a few female friends of mine are very good instrumentalists, you know. One of them is a clarinet player, one of them plays flute, another one harps on, and another one is a violinist. One of them even play drums on her husband's bald head.

Don't be silly. I was only joking. Anyway, your spellings are much better in this^ post, so she may not even waste her money in buying that dictionary. LOL I am not one of those pedantic or ostentatious ones. I was joking, and I mean it. Easy.

Hehe

I do love cute girls who play classical instruments in orchestras - I perceive them as 'uptight' posh totty. Gives me a raging hard-on sometimes LOL.

But electric guitars, drums, et al - e.g. in a pop group - I don't like 'em. It's all wrong in my book.

Sorry, but that's just the way I roll.

When you're getting the sticks, make sure they're 5B's with wood tips (not nylon). That way she might just build up her hand strength to be any good, before she drives you nuts with half-@rsed out of time thrashing

http://m.johnlewis.com/mt/www.johnle...U&Id=231280729

Which kit are you going for?

ETA: Sorry, man, just read the preceding posts. Still get the link present though - I was chuffed with mine!

That's extremely tight of you, man. Make some allowances on Christmas, and get her something special and personal to her such as a nice handbag or a perfume, at least!

If she uses them for more than 1 day I will look into the finer things.

Errm its just a Viking starter kit I think.
As for drumsticks I got her some pencil drumsticks but might still get the spoons.
