Yes I agree you get messed about on here more than eBay!!!
I wouldn't buy off here again, lately had waited3 weeks for a engine part I'd got first dibs on then went away for weekend comeback and he'd sold it somebody else after I'd waited 3 weeks for him to brake the car.
Then bought a steering wheel advertised as a named make and it was a " bad" copy
Never again too many del boys

No!
When you say you'll buy something at over 600 quid you wait till at least their ready to sell it .
as most don't brake car till engines sold. So you wait till their ready.
So say to you you have first dibs on it.

I totally agree about wasting money fella, why do it when you can buy quality items secondhand BUT if your actually relying on a part to get your motor back running or to get a project to the next step quick you wouldn't have problems like you've been having when buying new.

Most people do this so a potential buyer can hear the engine running rather than going on a promise. If most of the money from a breaker car is tied up in the engine then most breakers like it sold 1st to recover the most money.

You wouldnt believe the problems ive had sourcing new parts ,price is just one of them,as for urgency ive had some great results from a few good members on here who have been very helpful and very quick at response and delivery etc,but to me all i ask is some communication after all everyone has a life to get on with
