Default 235 RE070's - where from??

I'm looking for a set of these for my Hawkeye. I know in Europe we only got 225 but Id quite like to go 235 like the jdm models.

Any reason not to do this on a non jdm sti?

Anyone have any clue why they used a thinner tyre in Europe anyway??

but why is it that these tyres are only available in Japan in that size?

Perhaps the 235 isn't homologated for Europe or something?

Anyone have any experience with the Kumho XS KU36? Looks like it might be a decent alternative and is available in 235...
