Been a couple of weeks since any work done on her with being very busy in the workshop but after starting early and getting Ty's engine out and stripped ready for him to collect I got mine over onto the ramp and got to work plumbing the accusump line.
Now this got me thinking hard as to how best run the line and where to situate the electronic valve,it would have been nice to run the line straight back from the sandwich plate between the summit racng braces but with the downpipe being in the way it was a no go so I decided to come over onto the same side as the fuel lines using some 45' bends[I'm short one to complete the lines doh]and mount the valve on the brace after making a bracket to hold it,should end up good and I'll add some goodridge fire sleeve on the valve to dry break line and some hose dividers on the line running under the car as it's just cable tied in place until I pay Alex@Torques UK another visit
I also started to fill a couple of unneeded holes in my binnicle retainer that houses the fog light switch etc ready to send for flocking but pics of that tomorrow once it's complete.

Looking very nice Ryan, the installation is a work of art and is a real credit to you.

Everything is well thought out and just how it should be done albeit with your own spin on it, it will be a shame to see it getting dirty once it's on the road/track.

Thanks guys,appreciate the kind words

So today I went and got the 45 an8 I was short from Alex to finish the accusump system, while I was there I got talking about using methanol and the fact that some paper elements in fuel filters don't seem to like it and deterate/breakup so I made the decision to swap out my current fuelab filter which has a paper element and use one of Alex's steel element type filter,it will require one hose to be re-made but not the end of the world.
I also got some hose seperators to anchor the accsump line against the fuel lines running parallel to it,it looks very good and I'm happy with it,I put some goodridge fire sleeve on the hose from dry break onto the electronic valve along with remaking the boot one with some sleeve as well given it will have hot oil running through it and no doubt someone will at some point touch it shortly after use.

I finished up smoothing out the binnacle surround ready for flocking and I got the binnacle out and swapped out the current inner clock surrounds for the carbon STI one.

I also re-made the turbo actuator line as I swapped out the standard one for the special Turbo Technics uprated version.

Would like to thank Tim for getting/sending down some more Mil spec action, this one is for the loom that carries the lambda, speed sensor, neutral position switch, reverse light and wiper motor so all wires entering the engine bay will be Mil spec-a-fied lol.

I'm just about ready to start to strip it back down for the final paint!!

Final paint - it's already cleaner than most other cars that come of the production line. Just stop fannying around and get it finished

The oil is sucked out of the sump through the filter directly to the crank first so the feed I have is a direct feed to the crank essentially Ian.

Ill find you the link to the shrink mate
