Just thought I'd add this one for the entertainment of all who frequent scoobynet. Reading out number plates to himself, he ought to concentrate on the road.

What a complete and utter bell end!!!! Most of the incidents in that video weren't even worth looking at let alone yelling about like a moron!!! More helmet cam hero psychology at work! The cab driver at the end absolutely has him bang to rights!!!

The guy does himself no favours, but I don't agree the cab drive had him bang to rights at all.
If the cyclist could touch the cab, he was driving too close. I don't see how that can even be in question.

No too close would be if he had run him over. Touching distance... about perfect optimisation of road space in an area where traffic is dense I would say. I will bet he had to lean over as far as he dare to touch him anyway ... the guy is looking for trouble all the time. Bell end... end of discussion!

give motorcyclists, cyclists and horse riders at least as much room as you would when overtaking a car (see Rules 211-215)
I think you will find that the above is the "end of discussion"

Decided that riding off fast would be preferable to dragging her off of her horse and smashing her head against the road surface! Didn't want to create mess for the road sweepers ....

Unlike you, I am not moaning or getting angry. Simply stating facts, rather than your interpretation of them.
If he could touch the cab, the driver was too close. If he swevered or moved he would have clipped his handle bars, unless he had arms like a silverback. As you say, we can stop discussing that now.
As a high earner , I pay lots to use the roads as part of my income tax.

If you were driving your car and another car overtook, and you could reach out of your window and touch it......it would be to close. In fact, it might well have clipped your mirror.

Point is he didn't swerve or clip his handebars or such like and that logic is BS as you could say 'what if' no matter where he was on the road.
At the end of the day who's the one with the problem, the cab driver just getting on with it or the guy with the helmet cam uploading everything to You Tube and whining like a liitle girl ... clue ... it isn't the cabbie

And I am giving my opinion on knuckle dragging car drivers.
So, for you, as long as he didn't hit him then it was a safe overtake. Fair enough, I do understand what you are saying. I mean, you're wrong and it makes you look like a clown, but I do undertand you.
Lets move on from that now to more important issues, the cabbie has a bluetooth ear thing, clearly he is the one with problems or huge proportions. Only a clown would wear one.....wait a min, you have one too right?

Never heard of an installed car kit? What I assume most professional drivers would choose. For someone who is sat on their fat @rse driving all day it would make rather a good investment.
Still, on the plus side, at least we can see he is a ****, long before he opens his mouth or see him driving.

I notice he hasn't uploaded any footage of himself (and there will be some) flying up the inside of traffic light queues, with his hands a whisker away from wing mirrors
He has a point about the people pulling out on him, and bus drivers are just ignorant ******, but those instances happens to everyone, not just cyclists

F1_Fan - I know you're aware of the information regarding the non-existent road tax and how the roads are paid for, so repeated comments about how cyclists don't pay for using the roads is simple trolling - could you please stop?
Back to the original video - I agree about the whole 11 minute diatribe that could've been dealt with in a simple 1 minute summary, and while I appreciate that the cyclist needs to be fully aware of what might happen: I think in this case he simply had no time to react, and that bloody woman deserves having her license revoked.

Like it or not if you run a car you pay insurance, excise duty, VAT and fuel duty some of which goes towards the roads whereas if you are a cyclist you do not! Also please don't counter with the argument 'I run a car too' argument as I run two cars and pay two lots of insurance, excise duty etc.
Then let's talk about traceibility. A cyclist has no licence plate or any form of ID for their vehicle which is why a lot of them can run around with helmet cams shouting stupid things like 'I have you on camera and I have your reg plate'. They wuldn't be so cocky if they themselves were traceable!
No doubt this will get me a petty infraction or a ban, but sometimes things just need saying!
P.S. It's licence with a 'c'

I do, however, have to laugh at neo-**** cyclists who somehow think the roads were built for them and cars should not ruin their cycling enjoyment. Cameras on the helmet, all this 'caught on camera mate, reg no. xxxx xxx' is just asking for your bike to be inserted in the owners rack so hard it will need surgery.
Its your toy box as well, so I dont necessarily agree F1_Fan has been trolling. Just my opinion.
