Maybe but worth it brand new they're touching £400 with import charges etc but find a decent 2nd hand one and you'll be a happy bunny

Can't justify having it painted on its own, I need the back bumper doing anyway so I'm going to have to wait until that time and then the flap will dissapear into that cost. I need to find a good sprayer as will require a 100% job as I'm as being super fussy as the car has to be spot on.

Gave it a run into work today, we have moved and no longer do we suffer from sea gulls so hope to use this a little more regular than the classic in the good weather, hope to get up to see Andy soon as well as I've not had time since I picked it up for him to give it the once over then will be taking the SORN option for a few months over winter.

Big list on mine.. just waiting for some quiet time in work so I can get it started. Also got some work on the caddy and unit to do before the scoob gets some love!

Full service (inc cambelt, pulleys etc!)

New PAS pump (to stop the leaks!)

4 weels off for under arch clean, paint rear disc centres, calipers and carriers (fronts done)

See if I can get it lower without rubbing on the front..

Fit polished diff cover

Carbon Skin a few bits

Sort engine bay (wrap turbo/ down pipe) degrease, polish.. etc etc!

Then we should be ready for the shows again!

What year is your car James?

I have a mint (genuinely like new) PS pump from a Bug STi here which i was planning to use on my classic but went for a Spec-R relocation kit instead. If you have a classic & fluid is leaking from bottom of reservoir i'd recommend replacing the o-ring (about £1 from the stealers) and job done

I also have some nice Gates Kevlar timing belts here if you fancy one.

Will have a chat if you're heading to the WREC meeting next week

James has a MY98.

Removed all the bits off the vent making it ready for paint prep. If I had realised Merv could have fitted it this Saturday ;-) lol

There's a bit of time gone into that Steve.... I've not got up to Andy for a long time now with one thing and another bu need to get up there at some point.

My roof vent has gone on for paint this week.... not sure if that means we can get it in soon or will be better to leave it until spring, the car is still on the road this month but will be SORN'd jan/feb and possibly march as I'll not be going out in the salt.

Wheel research is the next step ready for next year, interested to see what's available for the new pcd and to see what tyre brands are favourites for the new age, It's another learning curve between the models.

Some nice Gun Metal Revulotion Milleniums would look nice mate, if i was buying wheels for the EVO it would either be them or some of the Rota copies of Advan RS wheels....

As for tyres, coz the EVO doesnt really go out in the rain think im gonna try some Federal 595 RS-R, similar to Toyo R888s but a fair bit cheaper and suppose to be a bit better in the wet.... Either that or stick with Eagle F1s

Looks like i'll be keeping the EVO now for another year, time to start ordering some bits ready for next year

Good tyre there Dean Frayz recommended them to me and as for wheel that's what I'm considering and that colour, I have to make a call to see availability and price on them.
Text me where you get the tyres from and price if you would it will give me an idea of price there too.
Pleased your keeping the car a bit longer there it's a good one, not many around like that.
