We need to be very careful with regards where all this is heading, now i'm no activist, but it is just another example of peoples rights and freedoms being slowly eroded,in 30yrs you won't be able to take a mcdump as it might offend someone eating their tofu burger and drinking their seaweed shake in maccydees

Im a smoker and dont ever smoke in my car. The fact that its a scoob has no relevance i dont think i could handle the smell in the car. The person who had my company van before me smoked and it F**king stinks and ive had the van 6 months or so.
I make you right on the rules though. Its like the pub rules. Im more than happy to step outside for a ciggie when im having a drink. The thing that p*sses me off the most (and the reason a cpuple of people have lost some teeth) is the fact that the non smokers come outside with you and then have the cheek to moan about the smoke and the fact its cold!
Ive got news for you people! You are the reason smokers are outside, so you can enjoy the comfort of being inside smoke and cold free. No-one asked you to follow the smokers outside so think twice before you come out and have the F**king cheek to moan about something that you have caused yourself!
But still, my friends smoke in their cars and no matter how many magic trees they buy you still know they smoke in there the moment you open the door. It makes me feel sick sometimes, coming from a smoker aswell!

If you unintentionally drop your cigarette and consequently burn yourself or that precious STi carpet mat, you can finish up distracted, which can cause a severe car accident. Smoking whilst driving is dangerous and should be avoided at all times. It's not a question of personal choice or personal freedoms being violated, it's a question of common sense.
Pretty much what he said, plus it winds me up when someone chucks a *** out of the window in front of me.

Smoking ban in car
I smoke like a chimney, however i dont smoke in the car, house or around my kids.
BUT if these idiots that keep telling me what i can or cant do in a vehicle i pay a small fortune to use on the ****ty roads in this country get this through, then i will be paying fines pretty regular.
It 's my car, i bought it, i keep it on the road, i will do whatever the hell i want to do inside it. simple.
so they can stick that in their pipe and smoke it!

i do agree with it in a way. if you can't eat an apple or sandwich, why should you be able to smoke? you need at least one hand off the wheel. 2 hands to open a new packet, go cross eyed trying to light it. then chuck it out the window when you're done.
but also, it's your car, you should be able to do what you want. but if you aren't allowed to eat in it.......

no cd's while driving coz if you flick to the next track you might lose control and cause a pile up.....not
no satnav cause it takes your eyes off the road and you could drive off a cliff......not
no heater switches coz if you turn the switch you could take your eyes off the road and hit a wall.....not
no fast cars coz they encourage you to drive fast and you could lose control......well hmmm maybelol
why dont we ban everything and just walk about like a bunch of zombies with no personality at all like in that christian bale movie

theres criminals out there and instead of trying to pull together and pressure the police and the goverment into catching the theifs and muggers and burgulars and conmen were to busy bickering
about something as small as stopping a hard working taxpayer smoking in his own vehicle.
instead of these people trying to change the law for that why dont
they use there resources into changing the law to help protect
people and familys and pressure the goverment to get more police on the streets.
but ooh i forgot were to ocupied being busy bodys and want to
get people to stop what you dont agree with....
