Hi beaujo,

Thanks for thinking of us.

As competitors go A-Plan are a group of high street brokers with very high service levels and traditional values, in some really nice parts of the world. So you've been with a really good firm for the last few years.

It's nice to see that we've managed to help your friend and we would be happy to look at your forthcoming Insurance requirement But even if we're unable to compete you can sleep safe knowing that you're currently in safe hands.

Kind regards

Tony

Hi R12CYS,

Just checking to see how we got on and how you found our guys to deal with at the time, as with the additional contact and change in detail we managed to improve by nearly £300.

As you had found, we are able to handle applications online or via the telephone and in your particular case you had applied online and called to discuss the detail after making the online application.

Calling enabled us to run through the detail you had entered, which identified a correction relating to your history that made a big difference in rating terms.

I can recall discussing your application with our technical team at the time and as a risk your overall profile was really good, but had forgotten to ask you as to how we compared at the time.

If you get 5 mins spare, i'd welcome your feedback

Kind regards

Tony

Thumbs up

Hi R12CYS,

Thanks for the feedback,

I was browsing our thread and was conscious that whilst we spoke via PM and you had called our office, it looked as though your last comment within our thread was unanswered - thus my checking to be safe.

The additional detail that you provided via PM and telephone was really helpful, as once we had corrected part of the detail (one of the dates relating to your history) that you had entered online there was a large improvement in rating.

Many thanks for the opportunity and for working with us. It will be a case of 'contender ready' for next time

Kind regards

Tony

Hi matthewn,

Thanks for thinking of us, we welcome the opportunity to help.

Your gap in performance car experience will mean that we need to refer to Underwriters, but with your great previous experience in mind we should be able to ensure qualification for some of our preferentially rated schemes.

Im currently overseas this week for the whitsun half term (attempting to avoid the 'drought' in the UK), but will contact you as soon as i return to organise this for you.

Kind regards

Tony

sorry guys, gave you a go...

got my 18 yrs ncb, no claims / convictions.. std wrx now, last car was a 411 bhp sti...

your quote was £80 more than Adrian Flux

it seems a 46 yr old bloke with 18 yrs ncb is still a risk in your eyes...

Hi madmerlin,

Many thanks for the opportunity.

We are boosting our scheme coverage for drivers aged 40+ with standard models and great records, so you'll probably find us a bit sharper next time around as we've a range of products going live in July with lower minimum premiums to specifically target mature drivers.

Kind regards

Tony

Tony.

I'm not too happy. Ive been insured with you for 11 months.

I have just changed my 2001 WRX for a 2007 WRX my policy expires the end of August (27th) when I changed my car I paid the difference until the end of the policy.

Today I get home from work and I have had an email claiming that my policy is being cancelled on the 30th July. So you email me on the 3rd August to say you will cancel my policy from the 20th July???????? as I have not responded to a letter sent to me on the 23rd July.

I have had no letter from Greenlight. I don't have a clue what is going on.

I need to use my car this evening, I tried to call GL and they are closed now, askmid.com says my car is currently insured. WTF is going on?

Is this geniune?

I taxed my car using the post office only on the 30th July too.......

Without you supplying your postcode and surname i wont be able to trace your policy records. So if you PM me the details I will look in to it immediatley for you.

If your policy was on a limited mileage basis you would of had to supply the new vehicle mileage at the time of the change. If you did not know it at the time of the change we send a letter to complete and return within 7 days....This is the only thing i can see that could lead to a mid term cancellation following a change of vehicle.

We only send the cancellation letter as a last resort you would of been written to, emailed and text previously chasing any required items before a cancellation letter is sent.

Again please contact me on 01277 376000 or drop a PM with your contact details so we can get in touch ASAP.

Best Regards

Normally we are only be able to quote Subaru Impreza Turbo models for drivers 25 and over but considering your prior experience I may be able to get a be-spoke quotation from an underwriter.

If you wanted to PM me you contact number and a desired time i can give you a call tommorrow to take some details and see what i can do.

Best Regards

Neil, I will be honest. It was the limited mileage issue.

However I never got any letters and the two emails your company sent were flagged as spam and was put into the spam folder.

All sorted now anyway. I gave the info on Saturday.

Hi Gazzaspenny,

If it's a WRX or STi model that really is a good rate from Tesco. But if it's a Sport or Gx model it's likely we would be able to improve upon the rate that you've been given.

Kind regards

Tony

P.S. Welcome to scoobynet, thanks for making us your first post.

That's great gazzaspenny,

Thanks for the opportunity, with you being under 25 I was wondering about the model.

We do cover the sport and GX models for younger drivers and can cover modifications for you, so I'm glad that we've worked out well for you

Kind regards

Just had a quote and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! A little early for an accurate quote (renewal 31/12) but the estimate knocked over £400 off last years premium. Lets see what December brings.

Hi Keddlestone,

Thanks for trying us.

You'll find us especially competitive where you're not driving high mileages and can limit your annual mileage.

The cover is good too, with relevant features such as like for like replacement of modified parts, track cover is also an option under most of our main schemes.

Kind regards

Tony

P.S. You've got my sympathy for people having an Insurance renewal due in December, if it helps to spread the blow we are usually able to offer premium finance.

Default Great to have you back

Hi Rutt,

Nice to speak with you again.

You're a genuine petrolhead who we've known for nearly 20 years now (starting with the VPCC and SIDC connections back in the day).

Having covered you for so many years before it's great to see that the products we added in the summer to boost our existing range paid off for you, as they're perfect for people like you who are clearly into their cars.

Thanks for taking cover with us this year, we're grateful for the opportunity to help and it's great to welcome you back

Kind regards

Tony

Many thanks Tony
A bit of reminiscing although it did make me feel a bit old afterwards

Made me realise there are finally some people and companies out there that get we like our cars and don't all drive like madmen in them.
thanks
