Well Nice and earlier this morning i had something todo on the car (water pipe) and the one my father in law got was too big to fit on the pipe...

So jumped in the work van and took a drive to my local carparts place...i paid through the Nose for it £2.99 LOL. but that didnt bother me as i had one...

Full fitted the coolant line and then Re aligned the Charge pipe and Tip...Double Checked Everything Then Re checked it again...then walked round the car then double checked everything again LMFAO...For some reason i was ****TING my Self Really bad....

Anyway Pulled the van up and connected the Jump leads (Just incase i had to crank my Battery a few times)...

Filled her up with coolant yet i was really even more ****ting my self But Overall excited at the same time,So the Feeling I was getting was ODD..LOL

Anway checked it all again and said a Brief prayer and Started Here up...First Turn of the Key and she fired up and my Exhaust Is well loud!!!!
Brief walk around the engine bay checking bits and looking under the car she was idling Fine...but with a Brief Hump in the Revs but i havent fitted some pipes Like N75 charge Pipe and no actuator fitted Yet plus my Tip is missing a Jublie clip...But my first concern was to get her running...

No Lumpy Running idle like before nothing...had the usal Smoke (light) from the manifold which was burning off...But after 5 mins of idling as the heat cycle started...I checked underneath again and seen oil Dripping from gearbox side but not in massive amounts so ive narrowed it down to be around the VVT head bit as it seems No other oil pipes Are around there...

How i left her Running

Im am over the moon about it... Im going to look more around the gearbox side and see what can be leaking and were From...But when we rebuilt the head we didnt change the VVT Gasket and VVT Moon gasket think...(didnt ORDER it)

But onwards and upwards

hopefully will be epic going for mapping in a few weeks

kept it off the forums until its running :-)

this is in a stripped octavia vrs ;-)

next stage is look at improving front mount effiency so will prob swap to a largeport SEM and then that will enable me to run the larger front mount and shorten the pipe run ( hopefully lol) but will see if this is needed when mapping as the wmi should stabalize the temps hopefully

then its weight loss programme for me and the car lol

400/400 should make it a nice track toy

going to look at cams at some point so have a chat with sam and see what he thinks will be good!! not bothered about top end want lots of low torque and lots of mid for track work

It was Finally Time for me to actually Finished the little bits of to actual make this Car road worthy..I first started off with a Nice Wash With 2x Bucket rule ,Then Followed up by a Clay bar which i was Gobsmaked on how much **** Came of with the clay..

Basically 1x Clay bar kit has done One Use Of it....(yeah I know Lol) Anway wants that was done followed up by a 2x Coats of Poor Boys Black Hole Which i left to a nice Dry Haze then polished it of with Megs Wool Mit....

Then Made a start with the PoorBoys Blue Nuba Polish which i un mittly did 2x coats with Haha, and the temperture outside was getting Cold so in between coats took far longer to set FFS!!!And Finaly i was glad to add my Clear Wax coat which was Poor Boys Nattys Blue Wax...

Yes by this point my arms were Falling off...And i had Interior and Wheels to Do yet....Lol..I did think this was too big of a job todo in one day...So quick Phone call to my Mother (life Saver) she popped round with her Carpet Cleaner so then i gave it a Nice wet vac and Clean with 2001 Cleaner And there was MOULD everwhere In the seat belts,Linings and seat it had set it too everything so i though Great....!!!

So Showed the Mother and yes She helped me out again with the cleaner with Suger,Soap & baking soda...WORKED a Treat!!!!

Big thanks Mate ^^^^^

Un Desided what todo at the moment bodywork wise...

But im currently just trying to sort any small Niggles out that stationary 8month car would create...
As far as im aware its just 1x Brake Light bult,Wire to Indictor,New Glove Box Catch & Rear Seat Belt (passenger Side) needs looking at as it dosnt retract...

So other than that id say it would be worthy of a MOT not to mention that it can no produce Boost:rofl:...

Yesterday My INA/TIAL 14.5psi Actuator Came which i had been waiting for to finish the Build off,So big thanks to Issam for Pushing that along for me?

What a pain it was to fit with the turbo on the car...

After fitting it start the car and the Exhaust Sounded Different (in a Good Way) gave it a quick Blip on the revs then it followed by a Loud Tssshhhhh Then a epically loud Pop from the exhaust...Then brought it up to temp to check for any leaks all seems Grand...Just before i turned it off due to the Snow I held it @ 3,000rpm for a brief moment then as the revs fellow it would Pop,Bang & splutter down to Idle and by this point i was Smiles all round as it sound Fantastic....

later that night i was Bored of the Soaps on Tv so had a Bash at the Grill....No too shabby i think...

Just waiting on my Godspeed Discs 323mm to Buy and my Ds2500 Pads to come throught the post and where on to a Winner...10000+ man Points..

OO i changed the engine again...Spoke to my RS cossy Buddy and he said i need to look in to thermal Properties...So Ive returned it all Back to Matt black And will change the Piping once the weather Gets Better ...

Had a Minor Setback on saturday was prepiing the car for the MOT and took the car down my street...Anyway it drove absoulty Fantastic Just WOW!! shortly after it cut out ...My Timing belt (Gates Racing Belt ) had pulled apart...

we've narrowed it down to the NEW OE tensioner Siezing and it made my Belt fail FFS....It only happend at 15mph or so...BUT it isnt the darn point

Heads off:

Looks like the Bottom end is fine,Spins Freely and all the Decks are the same (Thank God)...Theres some Minor Kiss marks on my Piston Crowns 2x of them...But all is minimal ...

Managed to get the head off with the turbo,Dp & inlet and looking at it the damage looks like Just 3x valves But my Ferrea Valves ...It will need to be stripped down to look at all the others..

I can't understand why it has snapped, all is clean now there and nothing in the way...My only question is the tensioner....****ing Auto Tension!!!!

The Head:
