Darren, just to deal with the confusion, are you the scoobymanuk and Martin! character also, and I read a thread earlier from a guy who has a car being fixed by a garage called JDM something or other and they have had it for a year! Is that your establishment?
Edited to add: It appears that you are not JDM Motorsport. I apologise for any confusion I may have created there.

Ah, now I get it, scoobymanuk no longer exists and has changed his name to Darren@JDM which is why theres 1000+ posts on the account.
Or is it Martin thats changed? I'm still confused, lol
Anyone still owed parts or money?

https://www.scoobynet.com/member.php?u=91308 Martin! still exists and was on a few days ago.
Scoobymanuk seems to have been deleted, which I presume means he is now under another name. It looks very much like he is now Darren@JDM, from the post history.

Did get a little concerned after a week. Especially since as soon as I posted on the sales thread I had a bunch of people warning me, had already made the purchase though. Then for some reason the thread was removed which didnt look like a good sign. Finally 2 week after making payment the steering wheel arrived by registered post. Could have been a delay with royal mail but I suspect it was more that someone couldnt be arsed making the trip to the post office and put it off for over a week. I've been guilty of that in the past when selling on ebay.

I'm having a bit of trouble communicating with Darren@JDM after buying parts at a total of 203 sterling..
does not reply to simple inquiries about shipment statuses, or tracking notifications. I hope he is just busy.

Personally, if Jake gets the bits then i'll be in shock.
According to Jake "I thought I got a good deal getting a v6 grill,v1/2 nardi,v6bumper with spats, and v1/4 spots w/ brackets for 145 posted to the states."
No way can you send a bumper to the states with all the other bits for that money, the shipping alone costs more than that, I know because i've broken 15 Mazda's in the past and used to ship to the us/canada all the time.
Good luck Jake, be interesting to see a tracking number for this one.

well i have spoken to darren and had no probs with comms etc for past week while working out deal for engine.i have only read this post today after ordering my engine so will wait to pass judgement on their service.the one thing i can say though is that the problem with most forums is that you normally only hear about the problems which to be fair all businesses have from time to time.
if im proved wrong then its time to get upset and take a road trip with the lads.

I should also add I "got" some folding mirrors and an ej20g wrx ecu from him for 58 posted on the 2nd of nov too. Given that isn't dhl like the bumper and such, I am a little more understanding.. But 14 days is about the max it should take imo.

I am giving Darren a chance to respond publically with a tracking number for my bumper, grill, spots, and steering wheel before I create another claim. This is extremely reasonable and fair.

Good luck mate, cant honestly see them turning up
Postage to the states will be more than you paid so in theory he'd be giving you the parts for free and has obviously realised this and has just kept your cash and I would be surprised if you get a response from him.

Not often I read a full thread in so much detail. Been a trader myself although not currently registered on here but stu is fully aware and were registering again shortly a couple of things stand out.
Darren keeps protesting his innocence but either there is a conspiracy against him from a lot of people or he is lacking in basic customer service skills and is also ripping a few people off although not everybody. I'm carefull here to keep factual as I am a neutral in this as I havnt bought from them.
One thing that stands out is the lack of professionalism in his replies and they come across to me as been in a somewhat threatening manner in some cases. This in itself will put buyers off purchasing from him if they read this thread.
My customers always get prompt replies and my customer feedback is that we have a high level of customer service. Bad publicity and feedback sticks and a good experience is rarely reported on while bad ones are. This thread is a prime example.
I would put effort into putting all the wrongs right and make good going forward or your business will end up the same place as all these parts lost in the post
Main reason I had my little rant is I saw a post mi way through saying this is why never send as gift, I totally disagree I've had many customers pay by gift to save fees with no issues. It's people like Darren giving us genuine traders a bad name.
And after this rant I guess I better get back onto stu and set up my trader account again lol.
