Wonder how many other forums have the same threads with members out of pocket?

The point I am trying to make is that the company are buying the cars through the business no problem.
Then I assume you and your cousin are selling them on here as a private sale.
This would mean you will need to declare the profits for tax purposes.
Unless you are fully above board and already do, hence you are a business yourself and should declare so to Scoobynet as a trader.
Its got to be one or the other

Funny how i get my refund as soon as this thread is started

Everyone can see from his threads how long i was owed the money, the fact he sayed he sent out 2 cheques and they never arrived just confirms how much pish he was talking, especially as my refund was via paypal from jdmotorsport.

Only lesson ive learnt from this is no matter how good there feedback/post count/activity is,NEVER paypal as a gift .

Why are users like this not being banned or at least suspended.
We see it over and over where people are taking the **** but still get to use the site.

really glad you got the £ back mate, unfortunately it was proberbly funded by some other poor sod who's likely to get the excuses.

I've seen a few threads in the for sale section with the usual "wheres my stuff" posted.

Wonder if the mods will make them pay for traders membership?

My thoughts exactly mate, but do moderators actually exist on here?

I really hope the mods are not allowing these people to stay because they are paid members.

Well you should be paying trader fees to sell stuff on here.

After checking back through the records over the past 2 years, several moderators have PM'd you requesting that you email stu about your trading activities. Your one previous reply saying you have done so, but Stu says otherwise. Then you appeared to magically stop posting on the forums for a number of months. Although the accounts remain active and logged in regularly - I guess to use the PM system. Then after a number of months trading activity resumes...still without paying SN for authorised advertiser (aka trader) status. SN plus membership does not cover you for this type of activity.

The same appears to have happened with the Martin! account, which has since magically started posting nothing but adverts after a long period of no activity (even if the account was regularly logged into), and notably selling some of the same stuff as the scoobymanUK account.

I have been asked to pull all current sales adverts and once again remind you that you or your 'cousin' are not allowed to post any adverts under either accounts, until Stu says otherwise.

I'm posting this publically so people are aware of the situation, and why the adverts have been pulled.

We are here, but we don't read very single thread on this forum - it is impossible for a volunteer to commit such time on here. If you want our attention all you have to do either PM us or click on the exclamation mark icon under a offending post and fill out a RTM (report to moderator) form. Cheers

Interesting ,i purchased a full 3" exhaust off scoobymanuk quite some time ago and i was careful to confirm via PM that it was indeed full 3"as the photos were awful. When it turned up the backbox had 3" pipework with a 2.5 flange mig welded onto the end a 3" downpipe tapering to 2.5" ,the only part true 3" was the center pipe.I complained and he told me it was all my fault cause i should have been able to tell by the grainy small resolution photos he had put up of it[despite his own words that it was full 3"].Refused refund so ranted at him and i left him bad feedback.

Also recently had a rear dif of Martin! that never showed up due to a courier mistake. But to be fair to him he eventualy offered me a refund.

The stories are all over various forums mate, not just this one. A lot of the local forums have the same horror stories and a few admin etc from some of these have contacted me saying that they refused to pay for a traders membership and were eventually banned as a result.

No doubt they'll be off to join somewhere else to subject their poor members to the same quality of products and services.

not slow posting mate, you'll get fed up soon, send a few emails then get excuses why they didnt turn up. Then you'll wait longer, and longer then eventually ask for a refund, then wait longer, and longer.

Or you might get lucky and they actually turn up, thats the gamble.

I am in no hurry, seems slow sending is fairly normal for this guy, so will bide my time.

He has been good at contact, seen lots worse.

EDIT: They arrived today

Bloody hell Steve, that sucks.

Apparently theres going to be a really big brake fluid delivery up at JD Motorsports soon, from what i've been reading. Had several admin from different sites contacting me with horror stories and a trail of unhappy people. Think their luck may have just run out.

543 positive vs 17 negative is about 3% unhappy not great but not the worst Ebayer I have seen.

My brakes arrived, they were cheap and they need a lot of derusting. IMHO I got what I paid for, maybe my expectations were low?

Update, looks like Scoobymanuk and Martin are using Pistonheads for sales but also have a traders account on here which has over 1000 posts.

If they had a traders account all along, why didnt they use it?

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3366397.htm

same car if i'm not mistaken
