Darren @ JDM - anyone had dealings with him/them?

Bought some wheels off him recently and after the courier failed to collect, twice, apparently, they eventually showed up. Fair enough.

I then ordered some plastic dash parts off him, and also a 3 port boost solenoid off scoobymanuk who asked me to send payment to the same paypal address but then the plastics turned up and they were the wrong ones.

Sent a pm and have been ignored ever since, despite him logging in.

Also learned that he owes a guy money for a turbo which was paid for then never arrived which he refuses to refund. Poor bloke is worried about posting on here in case he gets banned for raising the issue but he's lost money and so have I and I dont think its fair.

scoobydoobytim 12 October 2011 11:29 PM

To be fair I bought some coil packs off him and they showed up within a few days.

the hamster 12 October 2011 11:31 PM

Thing is, he's got decent trader feedback, but i'm wondering if theres more than just me and this other lad that are having problems.

MattyB1983 12 October 2011 11:32 PM

What's his username buddy.

the hamster 12 October 2011 11:38 PM

theres 2 usernames using the same paypal address.

MARTIN!
Scoobymanuk

Martin has stopped posting on here but scoobymanuk is selling parts and apparently is related to Martin and asks for payments to be sent to the same address.

MattyB1983 12 October 2011 11:41 PM

Something strange going on there then chap.
I recently bought some bits off Martin from here (not the same guy) that's why I asked for username.
Sounds like your Martin has upset a few people so started a new account under another name.

the hamster 12 October 2011 11:46 PM

I've been chatting to Martin 2010, its not him, he's sound.

These are the 2 accounts

Interesting that Scoobymanuk is selling the same green parts than Martin! was.

It's starting to become clearer.

MattyB1983 12 October 2011 11:49 PM

Yep, Martin2010 is a sound fella. Had some lights off him last week without any issue whatsoever.

He's online now too ;)

Darren@JDM 13 October 2011 10:30 AM

This is bull**** there is myself and my cousin not the same person we have both been members for many years.Just because he uses my unit and at times my computer it does not make us the same person. We have met people off this site both together at times for god sake how can i split myself into 2.This sort of malicious posting should be stopped

TinyTim 13 October 2011 10:36 AM

Bought from Scoobymanuk recently. Took 3 weeks for the item to turn up. During the time he shy'd away from giving me the tracking number and then claimed he'd sent it to the wrong person. Still, got here... finally.

I brought some to but mine didnt turn up lol, i was waiting well over a month apparently they got lost in the post twice, but we came to an agreement and i got something else instead :)

the hamster 13 October 2011 12:40 PM

lost in the post, you're kidding? seems to be happening a lot from the same seller(s) doesnt it?

Just recieved a rant via pm, will have a proper read in a bit.

MattyB1983 13 October 2011 12:45 PM

I knew royal mail were bad but really.

the hamster 13 October 2011 12:45 PM

This is the sort of thing i'm trying to sort out, dont really give a crap about my plastic parts as i've now bought them from a more reliable seller on here who seems to be able to deliver without things getting "lost"

This lad has been messed around long enough but is scared that if he raises the issue he'll get banned and lose the facility to chase you for the money. This is the pm I recieved at the weekend

Bought a Td04 off him for £60 delivered. Never turned up and he sayed the courier lost it.He's even admitted to me he has a refund from the courier but still hasnt payed me lol. Fisrt it was a paypal but then changed his mind saying he didnt have cash in it, so would send a cheque.Waited 2 weeks and no cheque. Then promised me another cheque with recorded delivery. That was a week ago. He's basically been putting me off for over 2 months now Problem i have on my side was i gifted the payment, due to his feedback/post count and activity on the forum so cant file a claim, that why im hounding him nearly every day now till he refunds me. Imight start hunting for his address coz Cumbria aint too far away from me lol.

the hamster 13 October 2011 01:08 PM

think the guy has been more than patient, and he's not the only one

i have a question ???

if scoobyman and martin are working from the same unit selling parts why are they not required to have a traders account on here ?

i would have thought this would give people more security.

the hamster 13 October 2011 01:13 PM

read this, theyre a joke!

People have been "taking it up" with you for months, your threads are full of posts which say WHERES MY REFUND or WHERES MY PARTS

Your excuses are wearing thin, and theres a queue forming of people who want their money back or parts delivered.

Darren@JDM 13 October 2011 04:26 PM

YODEL in this area are shocking late collections, very slow delivery, missing parcels all because they used HDNL vans.If you see the dates all from the time when i was using them all have been sorted as far as iam concerned your just a trouble maker dragging up old news with nothing better to do with your life

the hamster 13 October 2011 04:37 PM

So everyone has had a refund and their parts have they?

Budgie 13 October 2011 04:43 PM

So are you and your cousin doing this as a business?

the hamster 13 October 2011 04:51 PM

Their paypal address is JD Motorsport - CRSPARES@AOL.COM

Doesnt look very personal, more of a trader.

Darren@JDM 13 October 2011 05:00 PM

Nope we run impreza rally cars so just sell the spares off whats left. The busness belongs to my brother which is totally separate again. You should not be aloud to get away with clearly pasting peoples paypal address around i bet you would like it if i started sticking yours everywhere

allsop83 13 October 2011 05:03 PM

Not really going to take a side regarding who is due who parts etc. but it's a bit ropey selling as a trader without being registered?

Don't know the ins and outs of it but Phil got crucified on his flocking for having to pay the fees which I thought was a bit harsh- maybe something that, again, the guys need to look at?

Budgie 13 October 2011 05:34 PM

That sounds like a business to me
Be careful you don't get the Tax man on your case now he can see the company name
