as far as im aware they will all come gloss finished unless anyone has asked for matt finish.

I'm just in the same boat as you lot, just helping us all get a discount on a great product
My name is Alan and i got in contact with Chris of 'ACR Composites' about these roofs and spoke to him about setting up this group buy and he has been a great sport about it all. This is all to help get his company get its out there and hopefully be a start of great things to come in the carbon fiber goodies range for imprezas :P
By the way for any of you that want carbon bits for evo's or know anyone that does. Chris is your man as that is what his company has been mainly concentrating on at the moment.

but for the newage guys on here, i know they need another guy to make the roof for the newage go ahead. so i would contact the supplier if interested. i was offered it but dont have the funds atm. but if one of you do, it'll mean i can get one at a later date :P

i think its 600 for the newage roof, he needs 3 confirmed orders to put it into production, he has two race car drivers who have said yes. just needs one more. so whoever is serious about a newage one, give them a bell please

I was hoping you could do me a favor and let the guys on the subaru group buy know that copnstruction is well under way, ive shipped 3, and have another 4 made awaiting lacquer.
Unfortunatly im waiting on a new specifically developed carbon fibre lacquer to arrive from switzerland. Unfortunatly what with the christmas holidays and customs it seems to be taking forever. They gave me an estimated delivery date of 8th of january. PLease could you let the guys know so that they are all aware.

thats awesome, be nice to see a fitting thread now, iv done roof skins many times being a panel beater, but i think it would make a interesting read.
id also get the proper roof skin guide from subaru / audatex, tells you correct bonding, how many rivets and where etc. key part to car strength, to strong and car wont react correct in collision, to less, same effect. could be fatal.
