I've ran the GT spec headers for years and years, yes they're a compromise when it comes to cost over reliability, but certainly no compromise on bhp per £
As I clarified in my earlier post, restrictive might be the wrong word per sé

I betw ith equals that 700 would have been even more that is the point I am making, as has been proved numerous times, it seems like a gain of 20-30hp everywhere is the norm for swapping from unequals to equals just based on the research I have done.

Oh and Martyn it will be back in for another mapping session soon on a billet s206 as that result was with a crack in the wastegate and exhaust housing it seems! So Im getting the turbo upgraded now, and will want you to fit the flat foot shift and CAL Switch too

I've offered Killer B the opportunity to do some back to back testing on my drag car, they unfortunately declined.

I'm willing to bet that the performance difference actually has very little to do with the nature of equal vs unequal and far more to do with the overall design of the headers and uppipe.
I'm also willing to bet that some of the difference we saw in performance of your car was due to the closed loop knock control strategy now being employed, as this allows you to get much closer to det knowing that the ecu will take care of it should it need to.
Ignition is power

More than happy to remap whenever you're ready !

That is a real shame they didnt offer the opportunity because I feel if what I believe and have noticed in the way my car now drives (as you did) could be proven in a back to back dyno test it might convince some other people it is the way to go, and a decent data pool could be made up As far as I am aware no one else in the UK is running these manifolds, it could have changed by now but its alot of money for a relative "unknown" quantity. I guess I just got lucky!

Will I see much benefit from the billet upgrade on the turbo? I am actually quite excited about the flat foot shifting option...

Was about £70 postage on the manifolds, I dont remember how much I paid for them off the top of my head now, and yes you will need a 2.5 sump which is about £100
