I had a good chat with him and that's why I ended up getting the Exedy set up from Lateral (even though I did get the flywheel too) but they have a better rep. If you shop around there are some clutches (AP iirc) that will work with both the 5 and 6-speed
Check out the info I got from everyone here

i guess thats 1 persons experience with the CC clutch, i'll let you know how it goes after its been fitted
heres another
'We have been supplying and fitting Comp Clutches for over 18 months now and never yet had a problem with one.
We even had a friction disc on its own from Mike at Comp Clutch, free of charge to ' try ' as it had been rejected by another tuner as juddery. It went in one of our cars and was perfect, no judder, no smell.
They can be a bit ' prompt ' until bedded in, but once done are very strong,
Danny Clarke has one of their Ceremetallic single plate paddle clutches in his drag car making 654 hp and running 10.9 seconds. That's and advert of quality all on its own.
I have no problem in recommending them as good value.

Cars now running, big smile on my face when she came back to life
Am I right that it should be running low power until I remap her, as the engine light comes on when I put my foot down. Think it's in limp mode or something, new lightweight flywheel was also fitted.
Stalling and revs dropping too, any idea if I can get a fault read on a simtek, or just go straight for the map
Many thanks
Wiley

Nice one Wiley. Not sure with the Simtek etc. I know in the past when my engine light has stayed on it seems/feels like a limp mode or something. Bet a quick map and she's back and form n even better!
