Loved it as a Bug, now even better as a Hawk!

Wiley,

Did you remove the whole front end or just get a Hawk slam panel?

Stunning Wiley Another Top Job you've done

I can't afford what you've done but I have just got the STI v10 Centre Console With Hand Brake. Fancy a change on the inside.

Was considering getting the STI Sweeping clocks like in yours but I've heard it's nearly Impossible to get the Mileage Changed! Eprom Programmer or something is needed

Well worth what you spent on yours buddy

Got to keep her now

Cheers buddy. Seen afew on here and eBay etc. I'd have one but only if I could change the mileage to what mine is now! I'm aBit of sad ken in that respect. Thanks anyway Wiley! Don't get me wrong, of I saw some going cheap enough and in excellent condition I prob would get em

Phil (oh flock) on here does the flocking. Lives near me in Manchester, he's really good. Nowhere near you like, but good

Kind of mate! The abs light, hand brake and diff lights stay on all the time unless you sort the wiring out with relays etc. that's on the STI Sweeping clocks. V9-10!

You can fit the arch extensions without the bumper, but I will get the ver 9-10 bumper in time.

I've got a spec made up and will hopefully be completed within 2 weeks (Im impatient lol)

EJ207 semi closed block
JE forged pistons
Carrillo forged conrods
RCM uprated oil pump
ACL Race bearings
V3/4 STi crank
Cosworth timing belt
Cosworth 1.1mm head gaskets
Cosworth head bolts
GT spec headers - heat wrapped
New STi oil cooler modine
CC stage 4 clutch
Apexi AVCR boost controller
Eclipse performance turbo inlet hose
new crank pulleys
exedy lightweight flywheel
NGK iridium spark plugs

That's what I have ready and ordered

I've already got VF34
Hybrid front mount intercooler
Walbro fuel pump
550 injectors
Full De-cat exhaust
Simtek

I'm planning to run my turbo/injector setup until I have funds for a bigger turbo
Should be running a safe 350bhp on 1.5 bar boost
Engine will be good for 450-500bhp

I'll keep you guys updated

Wiley

Are you planning to run to the 450-500 mark on the standard 5-speed

If not is it worth doing the clutch upgrade ahead of a gearbox change, and it's worth speaking to Ricky about Competition Clutch - no end of trouble unless you bend-over and by their full package including the flywheel apparently

thanks jon, im not going over 400bhp with my turbo so my 5 speed should handle that.
when i upgrade turbo/injectors, then i will have to probably upgrade to 6 speed

thanks for the advice on clutch, i'll have to speak to ricky soon
