Top or front?
good luck with what you descide m8 sorry if we havnt helped,my final words as the car is now leave the top mount alone but if your thinking ahead then get the front mount over and done with then your ready to go
standard sti top mount is fine for 340 if in the future your going to head toward 400 then front mount, people only change to the sti8 top mount because they dont want a front mount but with that tubby you dont need either

This comment about 50 bhp from a FMIC could be from the mapper working on a car that has had other work done that they forgot to mention. When I got my bugeye the first mod was the FMIC with induction kit, I then fitted a set of headers. But did not get it mapped, when I got round to changing exhaust and fuel pump I also had a GEMs ECU fitted as Ecutek was in it's infancy they RR'ed my car prior to fitting at 295 bhp so up 30 bhp from the headers and FMIC. I was told 25 bhp was from the headers so only 5 from the FMIC. After the fitting and mapping I was at 360 bhp a few more jobs and now happily (for now) at 440 bhp.
Get it mapped on the STI TMIC just now as it is- will quite happily handle your turbo's potential. Enjoy the car, spend your cash on fuel, get used to the speed and then once you need and are ready for more....
Save your pennies and get yourself a FMIC
