My input was sincere jealousy (!), and robot sex.

Ohhh noooooo, not another Recruitment Agency ? :-)

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, instead of "fund managers, like or hate", lets change that to "Recruitment Agents, like or hate ?" :-)

Fair play to you. The endless calls I get from recruitment agencies, asking me if Im free, and asking if I know Uni 10 (unix) :-). If there's ever an industry that needs cleaning up !!

As I say for me it is a sideline to my consulting and training business. I only place close friends that I know will deliver.

Mind you one of my friends has gone into it big time. Finding good people is the hardest bit - selling them is surprisingly easy.

The only **** are the Mr Big I am's proclaiming to how much money they earn, seriously

If you own your own home outright at 26 in Central London (£1-2m easy?) Why dont you have an LP700 already? Instead, you have to make do with a £50k Nissan?

Keep going though, internet is full of wafflers, those that generally have wealth dont usually boast about it

No wonder SN and its contributors are ridiculed by other car based forums...

My home isn't that expensive thanks, at the moment i don't have the disposable cash to go and lavish myself with a Lambo, i don't make do with the Nissan it is the car of my dreams for the time being and i am very happy scaring myself to death in it when ever i choose. Almost all of my capital is in the markets working for me, because in the next four years my ambition is to be able to afford not to work

The only waffle here is you proclaiming you are not insecure and that you are happy in your life. If that was the case you would be able to congratulate others on the success they achieve and not be so bitter about life and what others may have. There are many members on here that know me personally so to give you a show of bravardo would mean i would fall flat on my face

I was going to bite back but thought better of it. Like I said, those with wealth do not need to boast

For me, I'm still young at 28, Wife, 3 healthy children, glittering careers in oil and medical professions, what have I got to be jealous about? There's nothing insecure, it's just the ''Hey everyone, look at me'' posts that I find distasteful and irritating and hence why I commented. Simon Cowell is richer than us all driving around in a Veyron, so what, that's the point I was getting at.

Over and out Alloy, I seem to always have a barney with you across many forums so I'll bow out there before you start telling me your plans to buy Buckingham Palace and I bite again

Adios

Buckingham Palace is too distasteful for my exacting standards, Up Down Court is on my acquisition list though

Come back after you've changed your tampon and want to have reasonable discussion without a tirade of personal attacks and your Scottish inquisition

£700 for brake pads?!?!?!? And people say the GTR is expensive And all the issues with seals!!

Love how they say ideal for road and track, but we have bought an M3 track car as the Porsche is very expensive.... Sorry, but that's just daft - not really "ideal" now is it!!

Alloy - you're obvisouly good at what you do. But do you seriously think you won't work again after 4 years? The wife and I have our own business and work our fingers to the bone. The plan was to pay off as much as we could of the mortgage, sell the business assets then get 9 till 5's. However, if the money is there it's hard to turn it away and I can't see us packing the business in unless the work dries up and we have too. I suppose it may be that we are greedy.
I do realise the figures we are talking about are much higher in your case, but the scenarios are similar.
