It's an excellent comfortable bruiser for the M-way but can be hustled along B roads at a good pace, but can get juicey on fuel. He's running Falken's on the car and these are lasting well. Be aware some are 2.5 V6 and later the 3.0 V6, so the Road Tax is the £400 + bracket.

Can't really comment anymore as now't as gone wrong.
thanks for that mate, so I take it they are all in the higher tax bracket?

Dual mass flywheel in the ST sucks...feels spongy. Mines failed but I had a warranty. The only other problem I've had is a vacuum pipe at the very back of the engine splitting. It's a common problem, throws a CEL and the engine can't hold idle. It took time to bend my hands to the required shape but I finally worked it out, taped it up with black tape and put it back in. Been fine for 1000's of miles since. Otherwise, no problems with mine and I've not heard of too many recurring problems except for some bumper sag (clips not strong enough apparently)

mines is the band below the big one...£260 or something. 01/2005 car. I think it's only a problem if you are buying a 2006+. Mines is going up for sale as soon as my VC5 returns from the DVLA

Only the late 06 + cars as pointed out by Saxo Boy. Don't think it affected the 2.5's.
