DIY FMIC Project....
Well, best idea is to call their bluff, and tell them you will go and collect it. It may be a bollox, but it will be interesting to see what excuse they come up with. You should also tell them you want the money for postage back.

Guy.. your not the only one..
Andy its in the blanking plate where the original TB went..
Clutch is new but std... will sort when I put the 6 speed in.. as I have a new clutch coming with the box.. if it causes a problem then I wont use it...
Was going to use it as antilag so any revs at wot with no reasonable boost showing on map sensor..??
What revs would you say?? to come in at.. 2k??? so 2k to 3.5k?
Want 25bhp jets...
oops missed the 0
If I monitor the Crank Position Sensor and Count pulses etc.. I could work out the revs I supppose...
oh and the d/pipe does have 2 bosses, but they look like different threads... We have a few days.. if it doesnt fit we can weld one on!
Now Where's this fooking intercooler...

When someone screwed up delivery of a helmet I needed for a raceweekend, I forced the "courier" company to pay for motorbike courier to get it to me at 10pm.
I can't remember how I did it exactly, but they must have really wanted to avoid the hassle I probably promised.
similar deal, next day turned into next week.
I think in my case I asked what they could do to get it to me before the morning, and they thought I was joking. 3 hours later, helmet in hands.

LOL, poor bike courier having to lug a welder about. Will it fit in a topbox?
How will it corner? (Had to edit that in there, I'm not a professional muppet)

Quality was excellent thanks
I'll manage to distort it by welding it on though
I presume it's a high grade alloy ? It sure is tough to machine !
(just blending in the edges to the original part)
thanks again
Andy
Mark - Don't know about 'screw fix' but screw loose though

Seeing as this seems massively off-topic and has now included "NON-DIY FMIC project"
, just a quick note to thank you for your help with my downpipe.
My hands have just about healed, I pulled muscles I didn't know I had working under the car, and I was pretty uniformly covered in ****e when I went back to work. But it was worth it
Most noticable thing driving back wasn't performance, but how much SMOOTHER the car ran. This really, really surprised me. Oh, and the other noticable thing was the clouds of white smoke in traffic out of the intercooler scoop - thank **** it was WD40 burning off
Blasting around the lanes around Pool/Arthrington and other random places on the way back from the hill climb (see pics in Northern section) the car definitely picks up and pulls better, and the noise is just fantastic
Cheers again! And good meeting you Steve!
