I had my test drive yesterday in a Black one. No rear spoiler but had the Prodrive 19" rims. OO. Looks like my bank account is gonna take a hammering! LOL.
They had a white one in the showroom and they were just fitting the high level rear spoiler from RCM onto that one. Now I just gotta get meself a decent deal.
Enjoyed the ride. The Spec C suspension was actually more comfortable than the Eibach coilovers on my WRX so that was a pleasant surprise. It certainly handles well. Takes the crap roads and speed humps around me well.
Being a gadget mad man, I love the push button start, stereo, etc. Even cruise control, LOL. I have never had that so that will come in handy on the motorways.
The only thing that sorta got to me is the bloody seat contours that you sit on no matter how you are built. I am skinny yet them bloody seat sides are annoying.
My wife was not sure at the start but loved it by the time we got back. So that makes the money easy to spend!
So for me, Prodrive 19" wheels, low level rear spoiler, rear parking sensors, upgraded stereo (930BT or I may go for the F30BT) and I 'think' we are having the Plasma Blue.
When I saw the White one I was like, WOW, but the missus aint sold on that one.

Know what you mean ref the seats - so i'll be changing those! - shame as they look great but whilst i'm not a huge chap, I did not enjoy them that much on a long journey - and my wife did not like them at all -

Strange, I find them the most comfy seats I've had since the prodrive recaros in my GC8.

Strange, the Recaro's are lovely seats, and I find them very comfortable
However, I don't know what size you are, but I'd say anyone with a waist size over 34" will not either like them or fit in them

Delicately put!!!

I'm just over 34" waist (36" but trying to do something about that), but being a former keen cyclist I have quite large thighs (i'm not sure I ought to be writing this down!!!) so whilst yes the seat fits you like a glove and is very comfy, I found it a bit too restricting -

I think i'll probably do one more longer test drive in the seat before finally deciding to change - my wife thought the passenger seat was too low down, and did not like the fact that there was no height adjustment!. The dealer has said they can make the seat higher, but its just odd that a car of this value does not have a passenger seat that is fully adjustable.

I certainly will!!!

They look great - but just did not feel as comfortable (but maybe i'm being unduely influenced by my wife!!!!)

I probably need to stop messing around and sort out buying it....small matter of sorting the insurance pricing out which will hopefully be tomorrow if I get a call back.

Crossroads have a white sti with 19"s, spoiler and AST suspension that you'd like - think its done 9K so I suspect you might get that at a decent price - assuming your wife can be convinced that white is the new blue!. I was out in the blue one again - insurance sorted, finance in place, so just got to do the deal now!! Its an awesome car!

Stereo upgrade is a must
A Pro R back box to get burble
I've notice a stone chip before I went to Germany just an inch above the armour fend on rear quarter.
