No my stomach's sound, I had to put the warning, otherwise I'll get in trouble for not moderating. 
Being honest I've seen worse; a corpse that of a man who died in a bath that had turned into a human broth is the worst I've seen. The difference here though is they are still alive, I mean seriously, WTF is with that? Its like they somthing out of Resident Evil (although without Mila
).

Something on the report gives me a doubt. I'm pretty sure the last image, supposedly of these Russian users is Rachel Whitear, the British lass whose parents allowed the pics of her dead body to be braodcast. Check the last pic with the dress of her here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Whitear

Can't believe that anyone can see that and still say that drug taking isn't really a risky and positively dangerous occupation.
Children should be fully educated about the real dangers of getting dragged into drug taking of any kind and all the dreadful facts should be presented to them in the hope that will persuade them not to get sucked in by their peers.
Its heartbreaking to see what it eventually leads to!

It's the (nasty) chemicals they use to demethylate and reduce the codeine to desomorphine that are responsible for the damage, not the active drug itself. A quick purification by column chromatography or even acid/base extraction/back extraction would remove most of the nasties.
One of the main arguments for legalisation is that it would prevent many deaths like these that are due to impurities introduced during clandestine manufacture or added on purpose as a 'cutting' agent.
