best car your scoobs left standing

I recently had a play with a new ferrari 458 italia in my 350bhp type-r limited, quickly wiped the smug expression off his face! I keep telling myself he was giving it death to keep up, in reality he was probably wetting himself at my feeble atempt of getting away, probably much like the barry boys we frown upon.

Its very rare i get involved in any traffic light gp's anymore. Its always amusing to initiate one though, take a casual look at the other driver, lights go green and he tears the *** out his car and leaves most his tyres on the road while i just pull away normally thinking what a ****! Lol.

Kept up with a vanquish S in my brothers classic STi running 340bhp, then we hit over 110mph and the Vanquish kept going and the poor STi couldnt cope, Oil temps got high and didnt feel as safe as probably the Aston Martin did.
Lesson learned, dont matter how much power your scoobs/evo etc got, A 200mph supercar will always be faster at the top end and probably more reliable, dont get me wrong our cars are great accelerating cars, but makes me laugh when I read on here that a scoob has left a Lambo/Ferrari/Porsche standing!!!!

Took a munro vxr on from the lights which leads onto a round about (big enough the bike lads practice knee downs) then a tight left leading to a straight on the A194M i left him for dead acceleration app 4 cars ahead by the time we hit the straight 5 secs later he went past me like the starship enterprise i think the 600bhp came into play lol
Took a clio 225 cup on along the 5 roundabouts in washington kept waiting for him at next roundabout just to leave him again didnt realise it was a 225 cup untill he actually followed me home and pulled up at the end of my drive i thought it was going to end up in a fight lol but after several coffee's we are now friends lol

Only cars that have tried against my twinscroll jdm have been low powered corsa's and similar that seem to think they have beaten me when I just let them go past normally driven by young women. Only serious contender I ever had was a focus st but i got to about sixty then backed off and waited till he overtook must of had to wait about 3 seconds before he caught up then let him pass as point already proved. I must say my racing days have been over for a long time as a long time ago I played with a sapphire cossie with my 3 door and realised that the speeds achieved when playing was far to much for safety so learnt my lesson can't be bothered anymore and will let any stupid driver beat me off the lights as if it makes them feel better thinking they beat a Scooby I would rather them think they beat me rather than take the risk of losing my license. But each to their own I know what my car can do and use it where appropriate maybe that's why us old gits pay less insurance

c63 amg complete wiped the floor with me. he came up from behind me at the traffic lights
and sat next to me ,it was late and night so I couldnt see which c class merc it was as
the different models look so similiar ,we took off together then I saw the 4 exhaust pipes out the back , it
was on a dual carrige way and I didnt even get to 50 mph before I gave up.

But how many of the "other" cars are actually trying to race you, or going at 50% throttle?
Just like some of us scooby owners above have mentioned how they just drive normally and let other wannaby racedrivers blast past them, thinking they've "beaten a scooby", when in fact the scooby owner was just driving normally.
It makes me laugh the amount of cars that try it on with my scooby. I don't even bother.

Totally agree. When I do floor mine, which I love to do (not racing just driving) on an open straight road, it does leave everything for dust as though everything else is standing still. Its like a warp drive lol with the wooosh of the turbo and then speed
