Only had one car have a pop. My STi 5 had 342.2bhp (now 361.5). That was a dark metallic blue 'Chris Bangle' V10 M60 M5! He tried to keep up through a roundabout, but didn't. I kept the foot in on the following D.C. and was getting away, before 'he gave up' and turned off a slip road.
Okay, I know they're 1855kg , but even so I expect he was a) in 400bhp mode (and not 500) or b) didn't have the skill in cornering/*****/was worried about his licence etc, TBH. As I'm sure, if he was in 500bhp mode, and had kept at it, then surely the sheer power would... should!... have overhauled me.
Was milling about later on after that, and clocked him again in traffic. He did that 'not turning head/staring straight ahead/can't see you' thing

The DCY EVO, I think it was the last grudgement day. It was a very windy day and I think a 30mph head wind which is why my brick of a car was soo slow

My favourite Pod win was a Nobel M12 (12.5 vs 12.8) It probably could have gone faster, but he ran the same times all day.
Closely follwed by a Supercharged BMW e46 M3 (Complete with lots of audio, screens and leather) He "never had problems wasting Scoobys" 12.5 vs 13.4.

evo viii - had launch control left me at the lights as i dont like launching on stock clutch, once i got going though couldnt see him in my rear mirror as i have tints, after slowing down to have a good look at him he pulled the old "look straight ahead and dont aknowledge the person next to you manouver"
POLO GTI - couldnt shake it until reached a long strip of uphill, again left that (but not by much) i followed him to a stop to find out what he was running, turns out a stage 2, 240hp+
couple of bmw's not sure of model dont see them long enough.
1 gallardo, i did well to keep up but he left me at about 140
nothing else since as im looking at ringland problems so sorting out parts for a forged rebuild.
oh ye im running a stock 2006 sti uk 274bhp from the factory if im correct?

It was close, i got bogged down with heat-soak and she sped away from me, entering some sharp bends i caught him until i got fuel surge. In the end she spotted a group of holiday makers and put the music on and pulled over and i shot past her - that was a good day!

Some young lad trying to impress his (ugly i might add) girlfriend in his "murdered out" ST Focus yesterday...
He was tailgaiting me and revving his engine hard, to which i replied by opening my window - sticking my middle finger out of it and putting my foot down!!!LoL
He did try and keep up tho bless him!!!!

I like racing my mates, it's more fun. I think I'd need a bigger turbo to beat you again though, 18g would probably be enough.
I stuck it on YouTube especially.

I had a funny one a couple of months ago. Before I bought my scoob I had an Evo 3.There's a dual carriage way near me that everyone goes for it on.
There was an R8 that flew up behind me,so when we got to the start of the carriage way we both nailed it.I started pulling away a bit,not by much but still.
About halfway along there was a micra in the outside lane doing about 50 so I thought ok,I enjoyed that, flashed my hazards and pulled in.
Of course he wasn't done and cut me up to undertake the micra and called me a w@nker.
It was the v8,not the 10.
I've seen him a few times since but he's been going the opposite way each time.
Danny.
