You can draw on your pension and keep working as long as the scheme rules permit it.
And that goes for any pension not just teachers.

Not in the RAF they don't. You would never get paid the salary that you had when you left.

You might manage to get some gash job for peanuts if you were lucky.

The irony of your statement is illuminating, but no doubt lost on you.

That aside, I find it interesting that you have chosen to comment on my perceived lack of manners. I'm not sure what I've ever done to upset you - if you want to get into a flaming war, be my guest; but if you can't see the ignorance and stupidity that has been displayed by numerous posters in this thread, then I suggest you read it again.

Daryl, Leslie has picked up on your complete lack of understanding of your own Pension position and your outburst to those who know more about the situation than you do.

And YOU still haven't cited an independent verifiable source for your claims, so who cares?

Yes you did Chip, but I just thought I would mention the armed forces attitude for information. What hurts a bit is that Air Officers, Generals and Admirals retire on full pay!

Did you not read your post again, what is your excuse for calling SN members in general fools? Real keyboard warrior stuff of course but unnecessary and unpleasant.

If you spent more time looking for yourself, rather than asking someone else to do it for you then you wouldn't appear such a fool.

I know what I know and I know it to be correct ... take it or leave it. Or better still, prove me wrong!
