Mahle Powerpak pistons are rated quite highly, have you spoken to these guys about pistons?

I've got Mahle competition pistons in my recent forge build and have not had any issues what so ever with them. Mine came from advanced automotive. You will get discount off the prices on the website if you speak nicely to her.

As Banny says give Mark a phone you will get the right info on pistons and rods.

I ran a 2.5 with a 20G 2 years ago in my RA and it was mental on track power was instant, will make a very good road set up. You will be well advised to get the best rods and pistons you can as you WILL end up going for a bigger turbo eventually. As mentioned above who is doing the closed deck work on your block and what block are you starting with open deck or semi-closed deck?

Morning guys

Engine started yesterday for the first time after 6 months or more, sounds very good, just a little smoke when i rev it but that should clear out once its done few miles, there is few changes in regards to the block its not a close deck its semi closed deck which i rekon is fine for me because i dont want more then 400bhp out of it. I have few pictures of it which i will get up here when i get a chance, just getting the car together now and make sure everything works fine.

Car booked in for remap on the 16th with Duncan, he will be using RCM rollers, cant wait to get it done.

A little late due to funds and other family issue, but its getting better now so will have it mapped and see how she performs.

I will post the results on here once its done.
