Here's my vectra 2.2 sri
had a remus straight through centre section, precat removed, induction kit, running on tesco 99 and made 152bhp on the rollers and 17sec down the pod lol
unfortunately (well fortunately) someone rear ended me and it ended up a cat b writeoff then ended up with the scoob

Me old mans had pretty much every model of Astra made.
Started off with bangers, old merits etc. Then me mum won allot of money on one of the bingo cards you get in the newspapers.
So they went looking for a new car, he ended up getting one of the last GTEs made and sold. We picked it up on the Friday, and on the Saturday some one crashed into the back of it.
Complete mess, the car should of been wrote off but because it was so new the insurance company decided they would repair it.
When we eventually got it back we went to visit my auntie in the lakes for a weekend. Think we had been there an hour when there was a knock on the door, the pissed bloke from across the road had reversed his camper van off the drive, across the cul-de sac they lived in and went into the side of the astra, pushing it against the wall.
The car was took away on a trailer and we had to get a lift home in my aunties mini.
Again it was repaired and was on the road for a few months, until some joy riders crashed into it head on. It was then wrote off finally, don't think it had 3000 miles on it.
There was another incident where some old bat let go of a trolley which rolled across kwik save car park and hit it. That required a new front wing.
With the Insurance pay out he got a new H reg SXI in white, which although not as quick looked better than than the GTE in my opinion.
He has never had any problems with all the Astras he had apart from the GTE and this current one.
The battery quite often decides to go flat, CD player has broke twice, the screen wash pump is constantly blowing fuses and it was back at the dealers last week to get a fault on the horn fixed.
