Yes its possible,we are drove there around this time, but maybe we are seen you,but not remember right now

When we been at Santa pod we still have run-in map,but hopefully will be mapped tomorrow at SRR

Few updates:

We done run-in miles last week on Sunday,run-in went fine, car responded nicely during the run-in,no problems at all.

Service has been done on Monday at Neil@Slowboy racing, oil changed, plus bigger NOS jet fitted and Water methanol is refitted too, again we will be running smaller jet/nozzle,when we will have bigger ones we will refit them

Yesterday we are been at Tim@jti.uk.com,he replaced oil pressure sensor and done few other bits like is the checking the LC switch/paddle,now is wired correctly and working as should(on previous occasions we have problems when sometimes working or not working, but there has been only wiring issue)

We should have our wagon mapped today, but my brother has been unfortunately called on the trip to the Nairobi and he will be back on Friday, but hope so wagon will be mapped on Friday or next week

We would love to have our wagon mapped today or this week, just due on Sunday is RWYB and we would love to attend this, but we will see

Few updates:

Today we are tried to set water methanol, from some reason we can't set start of the WMI(water methanol injection)at lower boost level, after several runs we are find sweet spot at 0.1bar where will start and will pull all the way up to max boost.

We are find there has been missed one connection and due this we cannot set WMI at lower boost level, but now at least is wired and working well from lower boost

Today has our wagon been mapped and from start we have few issues like on Toucan we can't select map(when you select any CAL,simply will return to same CAL which has been previously selected),which again sorted Simon provisionally wired CAL switch, this has been start...

We are never tried to select different map just due we are forgot PIN Code on previous Toucan

First few runs showed encouraging results, after few pulls,Simon can't make more than 0.7bar,we suspected we are not running 3 port boost solenoid like Simon this confirmed.Simon wired 3 port boost solenoid and finally mapping can start

But at 0.7bar we made almost 400bhp which for that sort of power,we are been hopeful we will make easily on V-power alone 550-570bhp

After several runs,Simon said,we are running high IDC(93%) on our injectors(ID1000's),he raised fuel pressure on 3.6bar(previously we run 2.5bar) which has stayed,at this stage we are think we should be able to make more power

Simon tried several runs with several boost settings(max boost has been 1.7-1.8bar),but still he managed to do 481bhp at 1.6bar as maximum(more boost doesn't transmit to more power,as Simon confirmed us he tried 1.8bar and we making same power),as Simon said/suggest,there must be some sort of the restriction, his main suspicion is exhaust which he said, can be the main reason, why we are not making more power at higher boost

We will check tomorrow or sometimes next week exhaust again, plus we will check headers too if they're not leaking or if they're OK at least, plus other bits we will need to check too..

I'm still thinking going with bigger main pump,we running now HRC 340LPH,which think we will replace for Walbro 450LPH or Bosch 044 as safety measure for next mapping session, but as Simon said, pumps are OK or will be OK at more power

How car feels at the 1.6bar,awesome pulls great and we can at least enjoy the car for now, still no NOS mapped and more boost will make hopefully more, but this we will know for sure sometimes in next few weeks

Think in couple of weeks we will make again trip to SRR for mapping, hope so we will make more power

Slightly disappointing end of the day and we can only say thanks to Simon and Charlie for today mapping and all helps

Really thanks Simon for today late mapping and big thanks to you for this

Good stuff, although a thought about lack of using and doing things to it makes me fed up with all that.. Theres a saying more money more problems which you could translate to more power more problems ... ..as usual.... rather stay mid power quicker spool and more joy on the road ... Good luck Jura, zie wagon is the inspiration as a project which will never happen in my life.

Hi Mantas

Thanks

Sometimes less power is better, but not still..

We run 490bhp which has been enough at the stage we want more and more and mainly get better times on the Santa pod

With previous setup we should be able to do low/mid 11's but that's it,just due wagon is heavier

Agreed more power usually means more problems, but not still,as I said on start the project, our target is 600bhp,which should be possible, just needs to have look on the exhaust which seems is our restriction

Few updates

On Tuesday new exhaust has been fitted(Buddy Club Spec IV) and we are check everything if its there any leaks, what I've seen there are not leaks

Only one thing is missing is on one slip joint on the GT Spec headers which is holding the slip joints together, but this shouldn't affect top end power as Neil/Charlie and Simon confirmed this only affect spool up not the top end

Today we are been again get our wagon mapped, but seems we are still on the same bhp, seems there is still restriction

Charlie and Simon tried today everything and still we are unable make more than 491bhp,we are gained with the new exhaust, just due on previous mapping we run Water methanol and we made 481bhp,with plain V-power we are made 491bhp at same boost level

But early results has been encouraging as Simon/Charlie said at 0.7bar again 400bhp and 450bhp at 1.3bar

Exhaust is improvement over previous, but still there is restriction

Again Simon tried several boost setting or more timing and still nothing,we simply can't make above 500bhp

Charlie think at first time, wastegate is plumbed wrong way or timing belt is wrongly done, but I've spoke with Neil and Neil said,he exactly know what can cause this,is not the engine related

With this I would like again thanks to Simon@JGM and Charlie@SRR for today, hopefully now 3rd time we will be lucky

Car feels awesome and really is great to drive, but still would love to try how will feel with higher bhp,but at least exhaust is now quieter at lower RPM(up to 3000RPM),at higher RPM noise of the exhaust is awesome

For now we can at least drive the car, which feels OK,but still I hate this hot weather, when I'm watching those ACT temperature I'm just worried to push car

Wagon will be going next week to Neil check over the car and hopefully he will fix this issue/bug

We are been today at Mags@RUISLIP TYRE SERVICE LTD(Thanks Mags you are star) for XXR 530 8.75x18*we will be running Continental ContiSport 245/35 ZR18),which looks just awesome and for now we will be running them, just due we don't want damage R888 which we want keep them for track days and drag runs, plus wagon with 17" is much more lowered and sometimes we have problems to go though speed bumps

But there we are meet fellow SN member(wagon owner too) Ed@S100BEY,nice to meet you Ed

Here is few pics of the wheels on our wagon

Has Neil shed any light on what he thinks the problem might be? I remember having similar issues on my blob where it wouldn't make power on a 20g and turned out to be a mullered intercooler.
I suspect on yours it's going to be something else but I appreciate its a very frustrating time going backwards and forwards!

Few updates:

Yesterday we are took our wagon to Neil@Slowboy racing for check up and for resolving the restriction issue

I've spoke with the Neil about the restriction issue and he said,he will investigate the issue.

Second issue which hopefully Neil will resolve is the power steering locking on when we are turning to left, which seems is only very minor issue

More news on this we will know for sure next week Monday and I will update the thread with Neil findings

Hi John

Yes is headache for now,but hopefully car will be sorted next week

Yes sometimes I wish we are stick with 2.1L and added bigger turbo, but still with this engine we are not at least limited(with 2.1L we will be limited at 550bhp)

Few updates:

After several issues with the Rotated kits,Stew made own kit from H&S Twisted kit with screamer pipe, which we are very appreciated for this and with this we would like top thank you

Stew made rotated kit in record time,we are expected we will have wagon somewhere around 24th,but Stew made everything including oil change and fitting all bits like intercooler just in 3 days.Again Stew thanks for great work and we would like to say thanks again from both us

What I can say, feels awesome to drive and we are almost forgot how it feels and how it drives

We are done around 200 miles and we are took wagon to Ryan@prodriverules on Saturday, where Ryan will re-wrap our intercooler pipework and will do oil change to fully synthetic and will fit oil cooler and paint our front brakes again to red plus other bits

Hopefully next week will be wagon mapped and we will see what will makes

We will be probably changing the exhaust for something quieter, our current BuddyClub is OK,but with the creamer pipe is slightly more louder and we will be going again with different exhaust

Last bit,is we are probably will be going with the GT30r,just due with GT35r we would want more and more power and our gearbox will not hold this on longer run.with GT30r we will be at least OK

We will see,but for now we want to enjoy wagon

Again I would like to say thanks to Stew@TFS and Ryan@prodriverules@C+K Motors

And thanks guys for support and help

Thanks for reading

Few updates:

After we are pick up the wagon from Ryan yesterday, which has done as usual awesome job,he fitted finally our oil cooler with fire sleeved hoses,Mocal Thermostatic oil sandwich plate, oil change to Miller Nanodrive 10-60 plus replacing our GT35r for ScoobyClinic GT30 V2 .63AR and plus other bits

Again Ryan thank you for doing this for us in such short notice,we are both really appreciated for this

Today we are been very hopeful we will have our wagon today finally mapped on full power after several disappointed sessions

As day started,we are come to our friend Elio, which has offered to us,he will fit new exhaust for us,as usual with our luck, exhaust doesn't fit as we are thought so and we are been at square one, back to old exhaust, which is now louder than previously(but we are think as everyone this confirmed is down to screamer)

After exhaust has been replaced for our old one BuddyClub Spec **,we are fitted hoses for wastegate

OK everything done, although I've been still unsure about the hoses sizes for wastegate,as we are used only 4mm hoses which are mainly used for boost gauges

We are come to SRR(Surrey Rolling Road) quite later than we are expected, but at least we are spoke with Simon, which has been OK with this and we are been after while ready for rollers, then Simon discovered we are don't/not have boost source/boost nipple which we are really needed, only option has been go to Stew and fitted there new boost nipple, which we will borrow from our 35r

We are come to Stew@TFS ,Stew fitted nipple and we are been ready for mapping, thanks Stew for toady and really we are appreciated for fitting the nipple

We are come on the SRR after our Garmin has took on his "B-road route",which means road which has been unpaved and only for one car. Finally after few guys has have their cars mapped and checked, our wagon has been ready for mapping, must admit,I've been little bit scare after we're not been 100% confident our PPG will take more power what we are run previously

OK few problems has needs to be sorted like 3port boost solenoid, again Charlie@SRR/Syvecs thanks for supplying the 3 Port

Chris@CJ has fitted 3 port boost solenoid with Simon, they both plumbed the wastegate and we are been been ready for mapping

After several runs, still I've been not 100% confident we will make above 500bhp,yes I've just pray for one no more problems and finally have this wagon mapped

Simon tried several runs, but we are been somewhere close to 500bhp,with which we are been happy, but after seeing few more runs, wagon staring making above 500bhp I've been over the moon,as I said with our luck,I've been unsure.

When finally Simon pulled his magic and we are made 555.5bhp and 520lb-ft on V-power only

Although Simon was been keen to try NOS,but think NOS will definitely kill the PPG,Simon and Charlie said,WMI(Water Methanol Injection) has doesn't work at all and we are check the WMI bottle, which has been empty, just at this stage we are don't have spare meth ,but Simon has have spare which has kindly borrowed us,WMI refilled with help from Chris@CJ and eevrything has been ready for mapping again for WM

Although we have fitted biggest jet(630cc),but we are been unable to make more power,as Charlie pointed out with Simon seems bigger jet doesn't make any difference, which is little bit disappointing

Guys suggested to run meth to the tank, but after we are have few problems running meth,we are not very keen to run again meth in tank

Most important how it drives?

Bloody hell,I've never expected this car will pulls like this, yes we are run on previous build NOS,but this is more violent like we are run NOS,feels like prancing horse.

Everytime we are starting to push on him, full boost(1.9bar) on the road I would say its very early(I think somewhere at region 3800-4000RPM),my brother doesn't expected this too,we are never pass 4000RPM,its simply impossible to run higher than that, this turbo spools like hell and making still awesome numbers

Screamer is loud than I've expected,at full boost screaming like .... But sounds so awesome and exhaust sounds too good, although still we are thinking to go with different one,but not right now

Thanks again all involved on today mapping,we are want to thanks to Simon@JGM for mapping the our wagon,Charlie@SRR,Stw@TFS,Ryan@C+K Motors for awesome job on our wagon,Chris@CJ for today(really thanks CJ ) and nice to see today Sid,Harry,Ian@bod and many others, again guys thanks

What next?

Enjoy the wagon

Replacing Alternator, looking like bearings are shot on the Alternator

Graphs will be posted tomorrow and sorry for not posting them, they're with my brother and my brother as went to his girlfriend

Good write up Jura and I'm pleased to hear it's gone well for you, although sounds like a busy day!!

Also interesting to hear the results of the gt30 on a 2.35 as I will be going this route, love the idea of the early spool up!!
