I had a minor off on the handling circuit at Millbrook, just a small scratch on the side thankfully but managed to get two small chunks of granite in the rear valance (found out at the next service what the annoying rattle when I closed the boot was coming from lol).
Where was this Graham?

Donington Heritage Loop..... short circuit at Donington, the first corner is blind, downhill and has a big bump on exit - so make for some entertaining moments.
It was just some grass, saved someone the hassle of having to cut that section Have a video of a fellow GTR driver helping me out by removing the grass from the grill
Just back from an awesome weekend up at Bruntingthorpe, for Asda Day giving passenger rides. Did a drag race against a H2 motorbike (1000cc super-charged, 208bhp - what an awesome bit of kit!!!) at lunchtime, 1st run was close, but the bike took it and second run I tired the launch control and the car didnt pull off well (lots of wheel spin) and the bike jumped out quite a lead. Will get some videos up shortly....

Some pics, not many
That Matt black one with tinted headlights looks mean!
I really want one as well, after trying one a while back, but i cant justify it as a daily hack to work... yet
There are a couple that have now passed 100k I also managed 235 miles to 3/4 of a tank of fuel on the motorways following the MX5. I then managed 133 miles going round Bruntingthorpe on 1 tank and 3.5 (20l) jerry cans
Your GT-R looked amazing at the On your marks charity event!! I also saw, which appeared to be, a 1972 Hakosuka 2000GT-R. Not sure whether it was real or a replica but either way it did look stunning.
I think that 1400hp GT-R was there as well but i'm not sure if it went on track? What do you have to do if you want to take your car on the track? Do you have to bring extra fuel, tires, pads if necessary?

Yea those 235 miles were mostly off boost i guess? Thats what would worry me the noise and acceleration is very addictive in them, so as i would be using it mostly around town i think i would be seeing 150miles tops all the time

This didn't happen that often...
It's not a car for eking out a tank of super unleaded but I did manage 310-320 miles out of tank a few times (behaving myself on a long motorway journey).
When I had mine, I worked from home so apart from the odd long journey it was mainly used for the school run. These cars need to be used as they were intended really. The last set of pads and discs were only used lightly on the road, I wasn't ever really heavy braking so didn't feel the pad pick up on the discs until there was so much that the discs felt they were warped (so much so that I had to replace them before I sold it).
If you're just planning on using it round town the gearbox isn't particularly brilliant at low speeds. Again, the car is designed to be ripping your face off with loads of acceleration through the gears rather than crawling along in traffic dragging the clutch getting hot (although in winter resting your leg on the warm transmission tunnel is quite nice lol).
He's some of the reason I sold it.

Subaru Collector 555.
Thanks 4 sessions of 40 minutes plus the drag race at lunch.... seems so simple. You are correct, Hakosuka was there, its not an original GTR, but the owner has got an original GTR as well. I have driven that Hakosuka, went out for a lap in at On your Marks and Dave even offered to let me drive it
The 1400bhp car did 1 lap and I believe he managed 200+ mph on the back straight, but struggled with issues al day.
I take jerry cans, currently 2, but really need more than that. Nothing else.... drive it there, drive it on track and hopefully drive it home

Very!, I know it's got some aesthetic upgrades but the SVM stage 5 upgrades 'only' cost £13,650, pick up a 2010 for ~£40k-43k, that still leaves you a lot of change from £70k!
I'd rather have a nearly new car if I was spending £70k on one...
Personally, I would rather buy and modify myself... but I saw the project thread on that SVM one the exterior respray is rather impressive. I would also stick to stage 4.25
Also there are more parts on that car than just the stage 5, so its not just that to add up, but I understand where you are coming from.

I bought a 2011 model the other week. It feels pretty slow compared to the scooby (only Litchfield 'stage 1' at the moment), but I'm really liking have a nice modern car to drive around. No squeaking dashboard etc! (yet!)
