hahaa, I know.... lost my nerve, too many idiots jumping out from middle lane to fast lane. Had one do it when I was passing 120 . So had a nice open section and got it up
Still looking great!!! Still enjoying the car?

Yes even after 5 years ownership, I've still got a huge smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel. Booked in for SVM spec high comp build with twin gt3071 and all supporting mods, should be an even bigger laugh after that!

Yes it can be sketchy, especially as the sections I drove were dual carriageway!

I know the feeling!!! Did the Euro tour (and some extra miles) totaling 4200 miles (lots of fuel and toll roads) but still love this car! Test drove a C63 (didnt like it - seemed like a normal car with a nice sounding engine) and a R8 v10 (lovely car, lovely sound, but the single plate clutch is terrible and for the money I just dont think it comes close to the GTR). So looks like Im stuck with the GTR.
Just bought a set of DBA discs and some pads to go with it.... hopefully I like them!
Shhhhhhh!! No one must know! I like the car having a unique backend

I love the ducktail look, but IMO GTRs need their wing! Especially when the c pillar has a crease to flow air through to the wing, it's part of the cars DNA!
The motor is being built for 1500bhp , fuel system will be able to
Flow enough juice for 1200bhp and the gearbox will hold 900ftlbs. The limits will be the stock heads, cams, valves and IC. With these current restrictions should be a comfortable 850hp car, once those get swapped out should be 950hp on pump and 1000hp+ with a splash of ethanol

Nice motor any plans for mods? The M16 were the last 16 MY10s middlehurst had as stock before the MY11 was released?
Be interesting to get it on a dyno, my OEM map with y-pipe made 504bhp (I think) and with a COBB tune that went up to 591bhp. I understand the NISMO ecu is more about torque profiles than hp but be nice to see in any event what the NISMO tune looks like on a pretty chart

I remember 3 springs ago and our little meet at the Ace cafe.
Never realised you had such plans for her Andrew!
I hope you guys are keeping well anyway.

Another M16 went on the rollers & made 550hp!
Mine is standard as yet, but will be getting ECUTEK very soon, so expecting 580hp with oodles of torque

Recently decided to upgrade the brakes (standard made it to 21000 miles and were starting to crack), went for DBA discs and Pagid RS29 pads all round. Already had the lines and fluid done. Picked the car up and went straight to Donington for Nissan event, which included taking people on fast laps around the Heritage Loop.
Some short videos of the pull-off (no launch control), spot the missed gear change
And to top it off, I not only got to see my dream car, I got driven around in it:-
Then I got to drive it (dream come true - next I just need to own one....)
Absolutely fantastic car and I cannot thank the owner enough!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool, in the best colour too
Mine is going in for better brakes once they arrive (10 day back order). When I say better, I mean non warped
Fastest I've been is 155 down Hanger Straight at Silverstone, which probably explains why my brakes over heated
