Hahaa....

Oddly I think it was the Dunlop runflat tyres that were prone to collect this stuff. 3000 miles on the Dunlops and I had 2 nails, in 2 separate tyres. Been on the MPSSs for 6500 miles and no issues.

Spoken to Litchfields today, they've got a 59 plate with stage 2 tune ready to go on sale but Ian has gone on holiday so they haven't priced it up till he's back on Monday.
There seems to be a real lack of GTRs for sale in/around Northampton. Proving frustrating and distracting to getting work done

If you can get one from litchfields then do it, usually fairy priced compared to rest of market.

Over the last 12 months the prices have remained stagnate, from when I started looking to the time I bought I could not believe how there wasn't much depreciation compared to other marques!

Good luck with it mate!

Yes, they seemed to drop a bit in the beginning, but now that gearboxes get fixed, not replaced and some of the initial bugs have been worked out, they have settled. That and the power that is achievable

I noticed in the last year the prices have stayed the same , probably drop like a stone now I bought one lol , my M3 dropped about £5k a year !!

Can't stop driving mine , filled the bugger up 3 times already this week , but once was to go to Litchfields.

Do the 09 cars have launch control , I now know the 11 onwards cars do , but hear people mention it about early cars , and different setting when using Cobb , anyone know ?

Its just the level of LC that varies and by that I mean the launch revs. With the ECUTek (and I am sure the Cobb is the same) LC software, the revs for launching are adjustable with the cruise control buttons.

I rarely use the LC, not much is worth full throttle at lights, let-alone LC

Hmmmm thoughts?

http://www.carshop.co.uk/used-car/NISSAN/GT-R/LR10XTG

I have always been deeply against ever buying from a car supermarket type place but this is a 2010 model in grey (I wanted either black or grey) with Sat-Nav and low mileage and at a reasonable price.

Nice to see more people converting to the way of the GTR!

Had mine out for a good blast over the weekend, even after 4 years of ownership, still a thrill to be behind the wheel!

Banny the LC5 is good.....BOTL LC5 is even better!

oddly enough, they're bringing it from Swindon to Northampton for me to see it (bet the salesman jumped at the chance!).
Still not seen any pics of it so it could be a right dog.

I had to pay a £99 deposit, which I was assured was 'fully refundable for whatever reason' to reserve it.
It did spur me on to get the finance sorted at least. So even if this is a nail I'm ready for the next one

So it could be reserved for you then with payment of the deposit?

Least you get first refusal, also some negotiation to be had there too!

Still waiting for the call. Chased them once and was told they'd call me back. 2 hours ago.
Not getting a good feeling about this.

I went to look at a car once at car shop in Northampton.
took it for a test drive, loved it and was willing to pay full price for it.
while I was on the test drive someone reserved it online.

they wouldn't sell it to me even though I was there with the cash in my pocket as it had been reserved so id be confident they wouldn't sell it to someone else if you reserved it.

Finally had a call, car still on the transporter and it hasn't been sold, just reserved for me until Thursday.
Such is life, I'm now snowed under with work this afternoon so won't get over today when it does finally arrive so straight over there tomorrow morning
