How does your car feel on the road? I took my last car which was a 350z on a rolling road and it made 274bhp. Took it to another rolling road and it made 288bhp. It was a bit of a mystery until a specialist said rolling roads will always differ to another rolling road, sometimes by quite a lot. depending on how they are calibrated. For that reason when modding always best to stick with one rolling road to assess progress as the rr will always be consistent with each run but of no use comparing to other rolling roads. Best to speak to your mapper or take it to a specialist to check for a boost leak. It really does come down to how it feels on the road though.
It's perfectly possible to post surprisingly similar figures if you test them all the same on a given dyno type. It's about error reduction, and taking it to a sensible degree.
You can take the point of view that it doesn't matter much in the long run, assuming you are only using the data as a matter of interest.
This is what we find. We get a car in. We test it. We tune it. We test it again. If we are having a good day, the figure goes up. Then we try it on the road. Guess what? It's faster.
