I have one similar , it definatly has helped for me. Neighbours dog has probably stopped barking by about 80%.
Used to start about 6 am yapping away in their garden , now I rarely hear it thankfully.

he dosent live in the garden, so it will be ok.

I think it is very unfair that you have you put up with that continuous racket.

You can only complain officially about it. There must be a reason for the barking, maybe hunger or just loneliness. Maybe the authorities might be able to get something done to stop it.
