I remember a few years back I was on the golf course with a friend of mine and as we approached a green we spotted this rabbit in front of us. As we got closer the little thing didnt move and a stoat or a vole (I'm clearly not Alan Titchmarsh) shot off the rabbits back and headed into the hedgerow.

The rabbit was twitching and shaking, it also had a couple of puncture marks on its neck.

After discussing the most humane thing to do, we'd come to the conclusion that it wouldnt be fair to leave the poor thing there hurt and injured. I couldnt kill the thing, its not in me but it was swiftly put out of its misery by my playing partners driver.

If it has myxomatosis then it's gunna die anyway a horrible slow death...

Chances are if it's sat still for any length of time out in the open then it has it and needs to be put out of it's misery...

Check for caked up eyes...

Quick spade treatment is the quickest option for it... it will not run if it's ill..

Well I'm sure you are all dying for an update.

There is no sign of it!

So either something ate it or it hopped off somewhere else.

Given the size of the ickle bunny, my money is on the former
