I thought you would of used hand controls as you dont have anything below your knee so how do you do the pedals

also do you plan to come over to the UK soon as ten of the best is soon

i have a prosthesis and i was determined not to drive an auto ..

i had an accident on a fishing trawler and lost my left foot and ended up with the below knee amputation when i was 16. so i learned to drive a standard car... within 15 mins i was fine with it and learned the sensations.

I drive better and quicker than my mate who has an Evo x FQ 330

this is a friends car that i have driven..

i do come over to the UK, but its expensive to get off this tiny rock.. typically £2-300

when and were is TOTB?

Were abouts in scotland are you.... i have friends in Inverness

That's probably because it sounds crap, looks crap and is pointless.... no offence but your time would be better spent having a sleep. Having a disability isn't special as most people have some form of it these days like in a way 'hair loss' but I haven't seen a "www.baldie-car-club.com" as yet.

Stop wasting your time and have fun on existing forums - why reinvent the wheel?

Personally I think that most disabled folk tend to want to be treated like a normal human being rather than being branded with issues with day to day life.
Just use the existing forums as they are and stop highlighting the issues

Yes I agree with Rob on this one

I know a lad who is one of the most dedicated members to the Subaru community and we treat him as one of the lads and that is how he would want to be treated too.

Best just to get on with it and become part of the gang and you will be treated as one of them

I can understand people not wanting to be defined by their disability as such.

But I don't think its a bad idea personally.

Gives disabled drivers a place to discuss how different cars suit their needs, find out about driving aids or adapt-ions etc. Recommendations for places to get modifications made.

All in a central location, instead of looking across various forums hoping to find some one else with a useful input.

Not alot to be honest, why would I?

Bought some 4 pots last year froma newage owner who was fairly local. He was a wheelchair user and hand hand controls in his Scoob.

I guess I like the fact that you guys don't let things get in your way.

But my view is if u wanna drive mate and can adapt the car if your disability needs it then do it ,

Enjoy yaself
