Aaaaand we're back home.

Baby seat was a p.i.t.a. so have bought a bracket from Toys'r'us for it - 40 bloody quid though But pram seat clicks in and out now

Thanks for the messages (again), fun starts here... best learn how to 'wing' it.

Babies are expensive! No one ever said they were cheap, but you don't need new stuff all of the time.

Remember, having a child is a learning curve, no matter what advice you get from other people, listen to your baby. I spent 4 months trying to breast feed effectively and in the end realised I wasn't producing enough. She wouldn't sleep for more than 2 hours at a time because of that and once I'd found that she'd take a bottle, she slept 6 hours!

Good luck, I really envy you, a new baby is such a gift

You know me Clare, I hate paying full price for anything, always looking for bargains etc. But unfortunately I needed this seat base today and only they had them in... I'll save moolah another time

Oh, and don't let everyone come for a visit all at once. I made that mistake and it was awful!

I totally agree. When it's 10 am and you are both feeling fresh, visitors seems a good idea, but when it's 2pm and they turn up the reality is you are both still on your pj's sticking of puke while trying to complete such a difficult task as make a cup of tea.

Beleive me, those days were the most stressful days of my life and I wish I had told people to give us a few weeks and then start coming around.

Also... Get some pics on here. I have only seen one and he was still covered in blood!!
