I agree that manual versus semi auto is a matter of preference, I'm not saying that semi auto is better. It's just tedious that somebody always predictably says that semi autos are for people who can't drive. Even more tedious when they try and back that idea up by comparing the service interval of a Datsun with a F1 car

I was a little bemused by the servicing thing.

Let's see how irrelevant we can all be.

Does the fact my 110 is more capable off road than an F1 car make it any better?

Does the fact that our mower uses less fuel than an F1 car make it any better?

And so on and so on...

at the risk of getting a slap -- i think that was the original point of the comparison.

to be 100% sure I might have to re-read the whole thread, but I don't have the stamina and have got to do a quick 10k run

Nooo, I'm a little rounder than that. And I'm far too busy looking after my newborn son to be obsessive with your good self. I just have a good memory Matt.

Congrats on the new born - how old?

We have a six week old girl (as well as a 2.5 year old boy) so enjoying sleep deprivation too...

This is going to put a smirk on my face if it is announced next month, thoughts Trout?

The web rumour mill also suggests that the GT3 RS LE could mark the debut of Porsche's new so-called 'PDK-S' gearbox, a more sports-oriented version of the company's twin-clutch transmission, which is widely expected to be available on the next-generation of 911 GT3 models.

That's one way to look at it, the other would be the correct way
