Yeah I was a bit worried too but just went for it LOL.
I've only set the beeps as explained in previous links pdf.

Not done the autolock as only I drive the car.
Also had the autolock on the last car and got sick of people just about
ripping the inside door handle off when the door didn't open

Yes but remember to turn off ignition quickly after pressing '7',

so:-

Turn on ignition, Press remote button, press '7' on keypad, then turn off ignition.

Think the red led on the keypad flashed a couple of times when I pressed '7'.

Get out of car and press remote to lock it. Should get 2xflashes and 2xbeeps.
Unlock it again 1xflash 1xbeep

Silverscoob maybe you can check this out too.

But since switching the beeps on I notice now that the alarm doesn't go off when I try to start the car after the 30 sec time limit? It just does nothing until you turn the key back and hit the remote. Now this is exactly the same as before only the alarm does not sound if that makes sense.

Might have to do an alarm test tonight by sitting in the back of the car to make sure that still works lol.
